Chapter
Matt sat in his friend's living room waiting anxiously for the reports on his best friend's father. Matt was watching Football, the NFL, with Jake because Jake's father routed for the Bears. Matt couldn't understand why they were watching football, but he did it anyway. Subs had come and they were watching football! Matt just didn't get it.
They decided to play outside with Sophie, Jake's older sister. Jake hated her at times but when it comes to times when your father is shot, that's one of the least of your worries. Apparently Matt saw this also. Matt stood there frozen for a couple of seconds the moment of pain, then fell, like a stone statue. Even though Jake sat in the room with Matt, played with him, and made jokes with him, something was different. Jake thought it tought as if this Matt was a different person. He said stupid jokes and wasn't ticklish anymore. Jake thought as if Matt was cloned.Things were shaking and made gave a toothy evil smile as screaming occurred. Then everything was black...
