Abby's Vacation

"School is starting, school is starting, yay!!!!" Susanna Jones aka Zanna was super excited. Today was the first day of school! Her short, and combed brown ponytails flopped up and down as she jumped.

Abby moaned, "Ughh.... Zanna! Don't you have anything better to do!" Abby turned back into bed.

"It's 5 min. past your alarm," Zanna stated. Abby bolted out of her bed.

"Oh man!" Zanna scurried away. Abby dragged herself to the bathroom. She looked in to the mirror. Abby Jones. Her green eyes shone as she combed her light brown curls. She brushed her teeth and then went to get dressed. Abby was the most popular girl in the school, and that always meant 1 arch enemy. Her's was Karen Michaels. Karen had been jealous of Abby since Kindergarden, when Abby's Valentines Day box was better than hers. Everyone loved Abby. She was Chief Editor of the School newspaper. Abby had the best fashion sense,and to top it off Abby's parents were the coolest parents as far as her school knew. THey took Abby parachuting, sky diving, skiing,etc. But all of that was about to change. Abby Jones was 12 years old now, and her parents had just had a divorce. Abby's world has begun to turn upside down. But no was not the time to think about that.

Abby ran downstaires to find her sisters in front of the TV. "Ugh!" cried Abby, "It's spring break!" Abby ran t o chase her sister, Zanna. Lila, Zanna's 8 year old twin sister ran to her rescue, and Sam, their 2 year old sister was sitting cluelessly on the couch.

"Girls, Girls", their mom, Susan Jones, cried. "It's time for breakfast! I made waffles!" That stopped the fighting. All the girls ran to the table, and sat ready to eat. Their mom laid out the waffles, and then went to pick up Sam, who was trying to run. 5 minutes later,  they were all sitting at the table. "So, girls, how are you doing?" Susan asked. Abby looked at her mom, "Mo

m, what is it? You usually ask us that when you want to tell us something."

" Okay, you're right," their mom admitted. "I am taking you all to the beach today..." She paused for an after effect.

"That's it?" blurted out Lila.

" At the Surf's Up beach, for a whole day of jet skiing, surfing lessons, and hanging with the dolphins!" Susan ended. All the girls screamed, and Sam started crying.

" Wow, mom! That's amazing!!" Abby said, and then she ran upstairs to get packed.

"She's excited," Lila said.

"Aren't you?", Zanna asked her.

"Yup! Bet I could get packed before you too!" Lila dashed upstairs.

"Hey!" Zanna complained, before following her sister.

"Well, Sam, we have to get you packed too!" Susan said, and she cleaned the table, then took Sam upstairs.
