Chapter 3
At school, I met up with Trist, my best friend, at my locker which just so happened that it was 12 lockers down from Neter. I got my books and headed to my AP1 class, art. I usually liked art, but today we were learning about the life of Arlio Nooratti which wasn't the most interesting thing in the world. Then, I had to go to my AP Algebra, AP Science, and AP English. Then, it was lunchtime. I wasn't much of a fan of cafeteria food, so I got my chips and sat down. A few minutes later, Neter came over and asked, "Is it okay if I sit here? My friends didn't save me my spot."
I, being the girlie 13-year-old girl, blushed, giggled, and gawked. "Sure," I finally stammered out. Not, of course, before I noticed that I had just stared at him for what seemed to be hours. He deliberated whether or not it was safe considering I just went all creepy on him. I glanced over at his table quickly to see who had taken his spot but his chair was empty. My heart fluttered and started to feel kind of light headed, but his voice snapped me back to reality. "Hey, are you okay? You were kinda swaying there," he asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I answered, lying. I was better than that.
" Cool. By the way, I was wondering if you and I could see a movie someti-." His voice cut off and so did my vision. Yes, I fainted.
