Camp Summer Waves | Chapter Two (TO EMILY)

A/N: so yes, the IM-ing part is very common in a lot of stories so I decided to give it a go :D and when they're IM-ing their using text talk because I thought it'd look weird if it was all proper. I hope that's okay :S enjoy!          

Chapter Two

          "Oh. My. God. No! Riks! You've got to listen to me! You cannot, and I repeat cannot, like Justin! He's too...too perfect! Plus, every girl that tries to get him ends up eating ice cream out of a bucket with a shovel! They don't even enjoy their summer! No! You will stay away from that boy! Either he's going to reject you or you're going to look like an idiot trying to get him and then he'll reject you!" JC was overreacting at my sudden interest in Justin. Justin, that's his name. The one that caught the football this afternoon. I don't know why but for some reason he's the only thing that's been on my mind.
"JC, I never said that I do like him--I don't even know the guy." I was unpacking my own things, setting them in the dresser or on the desk. My Dell laptop had to go on my bed along with Mr. Bubbles (it's a bubble shaped teddy). My laptop is basically my life, and if anything happens to it, I'd be better off dying--or just getting a new one, but still.
"Ohhh, but that's how it all starts! You want to get to know him, but it doesn't work out!" she wasn't giving up on this argument, was she?
"Look, JC, I love the fact that you're trying to protect me, but leave this in my hands, okay? This is nothing Rikki Wilson can't handle!"
JC hesitated before answering but she finally let out a sigh. "Fine. But remember, I'll be here if you need a shoulder to cry on, okay? Now let's go to dinner."
"I'll be there in a jiff, I've just got to get a few things ready." I lied, but at least she bought it. Once she left, I climed to the top bunk and flipped open my red laptop and opened MSN.

Rikki_Rawr: OK. you guys kno i already arrived to the usa and when i got here the parentals shipped me off to summer camp at some island. and taetae, yer so right. boy crisis girls boy crisis :( my fran JC said that hes super hard to get and that i have like no chance. that ill just end up eating ice cream out of a huge bucket and eat it with a shovel. YIKES! what should i do?????????? :S

          Their advice was probably right. Whenever I am myself guys drool. But will it be enough for Justin? I hope so. There's just something about Justin that makes me...happy--even though he doesn't know my name.
