The Car Crash: Chapter Two

After the interview, Kima and Tamon walked out to their assigned homes. They both had homes across from eachother, and they would only live alone. They were one room homes, or two when you had a relative. Each had a kitchen, bathroom, closet, dryer, washing machine, and anything else that was needed in a home. "Are you finding this home to your liking?" Donna asked Kima. Kima whirled around. She nodded slowly. "Well enjoy it. Since you are fourteen, as is your friend, you will only be allowed here one year. Then you will have to either go back home, or get married to one of the fourteen year-olds here." Kima was horrified. "W-Well. How old are you?" Donna was taken aback. "The council members are allowed to stay as long as they like. I will be twenty three coming April." Kima looked Donna up and down. Straight brown hair, peircing green eyes, a natural beauty. Kima loked down. She will never be looked at like Donna would be. "I am married to Alexander, Kima. But people still look at me the way you are thinking." Kima jumped. She's a mind reader, she thought. Donna suddenly took out a knife. "Whaat our you doing Donna?" Donna stepped forward. "I cannot trust you around Alexander, Kima. He looks at you too closely. And he's allowed to marry more than one woman." Kima stepped back. "He cant look at me like that D-Donna. I am not a beautiful person." Donna shook her head. "You are as beautiful as I. Kima, you cannot live. I am afraid that you have to die."

Kima looked past Donna and saw Tamon in her doorway, fire coming from his hands. She noticed that the air around her had grown cold. Donna still kept advancing toward her. Kima felt the wall around her back. Kima felt the knife pierce her. She cried out and saw Tamon throw a fireball. Donna cried out. The knife was still inside Kima. Tamon rushed toward her as she started sagging. He picked her up and took the knife out of her side. She cried out. Donna, who was stirring from the blast, looked up and cried out. Alexander came in, and saw them all. "Donna! What happened. He rushed over to her. "That girl," Donna said. "She tried... to stab me. Her friend. He was an accomplice. He has the fingerprints to-to proove it." Tamon scoffed. Donna was lying, and Alexander was falling for it. He remembered something. During the interview, the other council member had said something about a camera in every room. "There's a camera!" Donna's eyes flashed. She was caught. Suddenly, the innocent act was over and Donna was rushing toward Tamon and Kima, who was unconcious. "She's possessed!" Alexander cried. "You possessed my wife! You two die at sunset. If you try to escape, you will face imminent death."

Alexander picked up Donna, who was falsely holding her head. Tamon swore. As soon as they were gone, he rushed out. Kima, who was still unconcious, was not really heavy. He carried her to a mall, unoccupied hole, and put some food and water, and left her. The guards were behind him by a mile, and didnt see him hide Kima. "I loe you," he whispered, then left.
