When the three detectives got to the office it was closed. "I wonder why it's closed," Casey began, "Dr. Bedger wanted to meet us here."
"Well I know what it means," Danny said, "Let's go, good-bye, talk to ya' later." But then the door opened and Dr. Bedger came out sobbing. "Casey! Come in!" she exclaimed. "Danny, start recording, Meg, take notes. Dr. Bedger sit here," Casey ordered. "Okay, first question. Was there any Succinyl Chorine the day the child died?" Casey asked. "No," Dr. Bedger replied. Meg started scribbling furiously on a pad of paper. "Do you trust your employees?" Casey asked. "Yes, of course!" the doctor replied. "Did any of them seem awkward that day?"
"Actually, yes! Now I remember! Nurse Ann was talking to me that night and said 'I found that missing vile of Succinyl Chorine in a cabinet!' I asked 'What?' She replies 'I told you! There was a missing vile of Succinyl Chorine missing! I ordered a new one then found the old one. I put both of them in the fridge. Bess, you have very bad memory.' Then she left," Dr. Bedger replied. "Thanks Dr. B! That's all break time!" Danny exclaimed. "Not yet Danny," Casey said, "Dr. Bedger, I need to question Nurse Ann Stapler."
"Of course! Ann! Come here!" Dr. Bedger exclaimed. "Yes Bess?" Ann asked. "Casey Drew is solving this mystery. The 17 month old Mary Trench's death. She wants to ask some questions," Dr. Bedger said. "Ask away!" Ann said. "Let's get started," Casey replied.
