CCES Chapter 9

in A State of Randomness, Craziness, and WEIRDNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just then I was pulled up by the collar of my shirt. I was pulled off the bench into the air.
"CRAP!" you would think it was me who said that right? Wrong. Chelsea said that, because I don't swear.
Everyone who noticed something strange stood up. (Which was only Kate, Katie, Taryn, and Chelsea. Amazingly.) I managed to say, "Guys... I could use a little," I gasped for more breath, "hel-p!"
Kate was the first to come to my rescue. She grabbed my ankle, which was the only thing she could reach, which is saying something considering she's 5.5
She tugged down, hard, making me choke more, because the thing holding me only pulled up harder.
I grappled at my neck trying to loosen up the collar so I could breathe easier. It didn't work.
"Help... me." I crooked.
Kate was lifted a few centimeters off the ground, and then Katie and the others came to help out. Their pulling just made it worse.
"Stop... hel...ping... mah!" I pleaded trying to tug away from them.
"What are you talking-about?" Kate asked then she lost her grip.
I was thrown across the cafeteria and landed in the middle.
People started to laugh at me. I didn't care. I propped myself up on my elbow and used my other hand to rub my neck. I gasped for breath and let the air fill my lungs.
The mean old lunch lady came running over to me. I didn't even know her name and really and truly I could care less. Anyway she and her assistant came running over to me and pestering me with questions like 'Are you alright?' or 'Is there anything I can get you?’ they were treating me like I was a kindergartener.
"I'm okay." I insisted, trying to swat them away.
They kept insisting that I go to the nurse. But I kept insisting that I didn't need no stinkin nurse. In the past three years only one nurse did any good for me. And he became a doctor for the army. So no.
"Olivia!" the others came running up to me.
"You girls will report to the principles office and me and Olivia, if that is her name-"
"Merlin." I lied.
Kate tried so hard to keep from laughing that the sound she made sounded like a sick cough or hic-up.
"Okay," Mrs.Rickmond, or at least I think that's her name, said, "Merlin. We're coming too.
The principle at Cibolo is named Mrs. Babb. I'd never been to her office before, under reprimandtion circumstances.
"My God! What happened?"
"These girls," Mrs.Rickmond indicated everyone except me, "have harmed this student, Merlin, or at least that's what I assume her name is."
"Merlin? Well let's hear her side of the story." Mrs. Babb suggestion was more like a demand.
All eyes were on me. My friends silently pleading, 'don't say anything ageist us.' While the adults thought 'c'mon prove them wrong.
"I... um... well. Erm," I thought of something to say, "I fell off the bench and Kate here caught me in mid fall and picked us, I mean me, up that way and the others tried to help her but I lost balance and they slipped so that's how I ended up on the floor."
I was still in shock so I stammered the words out like an idiot.
"Well," Mrs. Babb concluded, "we have no proof so I will take Merlin's word for it."
We all left.
As me and the others turned for the blacktop Chelsea asked, "So 'Merlin' what was that?"
"That," I chocked, "was the first attack of The CCES Ghost."

Did you know:
That this is from Adrian and this took me all night and 16 mins. for me to get it right?
WELL IT DID!!!!!!!!
