Chapter 1: I Fight Flying Rats

Ok, so everyone’s’ had a weird day right? Well, not as weird as my day. It all started when Troy, the school bully, gave me a Texas Wedgie.

“PLEASE, I’M BEGGING YOU! DON’T PULL ANY HARDER!” I shouted. Troy just kept laughing, pulling my underwear to the point where it could rip.

It was the worse feeling in the entire world! Everyone in the hall laughed, and pointed at me. When Mr. Wells saw Troy torturing me, he shouted, “Troy, set that boy down!”

Troy threw me on the ground, and left. I thanked god that I was free! I got up, fixed my underwear and pants, and then headed to the cafeteria.

Thanks to Troy, I missed eight minutes of lunch time! I opened the door to the lunch room, and got in line. I took a tray and plate, slapped a huge glob of mashed potatoes on it, took a piece of spicy ham, and grabbed chocolate milk!

I sat next to my friend, Josh. He had messy black hair, and dark green eyes. I had curly brown hair, and light blue eyes.

“Hey, what’s up Chester!?” Josh asked.

“What’s up!? What’s up!? Getting a Texas Wedgie; that’s what’s up!!!” I shouted. “That stupid Troy really hurt me this time! I’m gonna get back at him! I’m going to get some paint from the art room, and I’m gonna splash it on Troy!”

“Dude, if you do that, you’ll be toast. Troy will do more than hurt you,” Josh said, taking a bite out of his ham.

I sighed. Why was middle school so hard!? I took a huge bite out of my mashed potatoes, and then drunk some icy cold chocolate milk.

To my right, I saw Tammy and Vanessa. They were bratty, and bossy, and annoying. They think their very popular in the school.

To my left, I saw Troy. He pretended his hand was my face, and then began to punch it. I gulped.

When I finished my food, I walked out the cafeteria. Josh followed me.

Chester, you don’t want to do this!” Josh shouted.

“Yes I do! I want to get Troy good!” I laughed, heading into the art room.
