Chester Flash: The Sky War (Page 3 Chapter 2: I Enter A Cosmo Wave)

"What's that huge grey cloud on the card?" I asked.

"That's the Darkness. It looks harmless as a picture, right? Well in real life, the Darkness can litterally burn you with one peek. That's what I meant when I said Josh couldn't come on the quest," Chromius said.

He threw the green card in the air, and it continued to float.

"So, how do we exit this place?" I asked.

Chromius did a weird hand signal, and the portal popped up right in front of me. Me and Chromius walked in. I became blind for a few seconds, and then my eyesight fixed.

We were back at the sidewalk. It was nighttime.

"How long have we been in the Cosmo Wave!?" I asked.

"Oh, twenty-four hours," Chromius replied.

I couldn't believe it! It felt like a few minutes, and it was actually twenty-four hours? Wow, magic is so odd!

"I must call upon the eagle. It can take us to Sky Base. Sky Base is where we live. After a week, we move onto another Sky Base," Chromius said.

He screamed at the sky.

What a weirdo! I said in my mind.

Suddenly, a huge shiney form landed right in front of me! It was the eagle! Chromius walked inside the eagle! I walked inside the eagle too.

Inside the eagle, I felt energized. I felt super strong and active!

"Chromius, how come I feel so strong inside this eagle?" I asked.

"That's because the eagle is made out of pure energy. The shiney gold stuff is what boosts you up. You need to have energy to be able to fly an eagle."

"WE HAVE TO FLY  IT!!!???"
