Consequences - Chapter 12 (IN THE CITY!)

"Cause he got high-h-h hopes! High-h-h hopes! High apple pie in the sky-y-y hopes!" our sheer voices rang out as I turned into the highway exit to Los Angeles, which was really like a part of San Fran. Los Angeles! Hollywood! San Fran! we couldn't believe it. The city was so MUCH compared to Charter. By the tie we arrived it was already night. There were lights everywhere, honking horns and hurrying people. Sounds of life blurred into the many neon signs. As we drove slowly through the roads, just exploring, we were awed. Also because I just haven't seen so much concrete. We were used to being just another part of nature, but Los Angeles (City of Angels?) was so very industrial. I mean, their "canal" was a concrete pipe thing covered with graffiti.

"This is so amazing! We couldn't have DONE it with out you!" yelped Gigi as she rolled down the window and stuck her head out.

"Your welcome. But we still have many other things to work out. I promise you San Fran would be nicer...I mean this place isn't so safe at night." I said as I watched suspicious walk by as we drove through an alley which was a bad idea.

"I don't know where we should sleep tonight...." I said wearily. I was worried some one would break in our car and kill us when we were sleeping or something.

"We can stay awake 'till day light. I mean, it's already one in the morning." said Jeremy.

"I hope we can." I replied firmly. "Beach. Now. he city feels unsafe."

20 minutes later we were back at the coastline. I parked my car in the lot.
