A Description: The Crunch of Gravel
Gravel crunched under my feet, and the sky began to turn periwinkle. I spun in the gravel and began to walk backwards. I waved to the distant figger. And gazed at the sky, the clouds spin around me. I hear my sisters pick up another piece of trash, off the side of the road. As I walk the corn fields pass me. The sun is low in the sky, chills run down my back. What a beautiful day. It’s quiet except for the crunching gravel under my feet. I talk a deep breath of the fresh air. Suddenly I hear my sister call, “Race ya!”
my head drops from the sky. I glance at my sister and dart off, down the road, “Oh ya?” I yell leaving her behind.
