Day 61 of my 365 days: A Sight of Stars

A Description: A sight of stars
My eyes drifted out the window, as we drove. It was dark, and just past 7 pm. I was tired and the car was chilled. I arched my back, and reached back, to get my coat. Pulling up my jacket I looked out as we crossed a bridge. In the dark of night, the river looked frigged. Ice stopped in places, and floated down the river in others. Trees lined the river, leaving swirling shadows under the moon light, in the river. The river curved in the distance. The black sky just touched the river. The starts reflected their dim light in the slow moving river. And as I look I thought of movie westerns, and I didn’t know why. I shut my eyes, and the car bumped as we reached the other side of the bridge, my mind was drifting, and I was drifting to sleep, and reaching for the stars.

You are getting really good, Veronica. This one is really good- it's kinda Bud Not, Buddy style- :D
I do have one CC- you used the word 'River' a lot- maybe find another word in the thesaurus... just to switch things up a bit. :D
~Becca Harbor Edson When life gives you sidewalk- take out a colorful stick of chalk and draw pictures for others to enjoy.

I am angry nearly every day of my life, but I have learned not to show it; and I still try to hope not to feel it, though it may take me another forty years to do it. ~Louisa May Alcott--- Vern C.G.
