Desperate for Love (Chapter 12)

I jumped magically over a huge spiky tail. The thing charged like a bull, and i stuck my sword out. It was simply stabbed in the nose. "Idiot! Attack the girl!" Claire yelled. I noticed some strange changes taking place on Claire. Her hair was no longer regular colored: it was turning very red, like fire. Auburn threw me a dagger, and I thrust it at the eye of the monster. The blinded creature roared, and then began randomly shooting flames around. I ducked just in time; my hair got on fire. I threw Auburn down before she got engulfed by flames. Claire thrust a dagger at us. I rolled over to avoid it, but Auburn was not as lucky. The dagger dug into her arm. I went forward quickly, and tried to pry her loose from the ground. The dragon, which had recovered from the pain, tried to shoot flames at us using the one eye he had left. I ran, carrying an unconcious Auburn on my back. The flames chased me, as fast as I was. I ran up a tree, the fire followed me. I jumped from tree to tree. This fire was obviously fiend fire. The creature who breathed it would be immobile, but the fire could follow at a very fast pace. I ran back towards the monster. It stopped the fire at the last moment, and stuck a horn out at me. I twirled, and missed it by inches. Auburn managed to hang on. I landed and drew my sword. I willed it to get thrown at the beast. It fell.

I sighed, and finally laid Auburn back on the ground, tending to the wound. Claire was looking furious. She no longer looked even close to human. Her firy hair had turned yellow-orange. The eyes were now red. She had clasped a ice blue sword, and then. She clenched her free fist. She screamed, a horrible sound, and she sprouted ice blue wings. Humongous wings. She was no longer human; no, she was more like a monster, or an elemental devil. She charged at me at blinding speed, so fast that I was thrown back by at least a mile before I even knew what the heck was going on. When I got up, I saw a humongous fireball shooting at me. I dodged, and then she thrust something unreal. Another humongous fireball, that seperated into mini homing missles. I threw my sword up, and put on my hugest burst of speed. My sword was holding off the fireballs while Claire chased me. No, her name wasn't Claire. I didn't know who, or why, she was what she was. I spinned backwards, and she sped ahead of me. I caught my sword, which was not just a hilt, and a melted blade. I glanced at it, realized Claire was homing on, and sped off. I threw myself up a tree, and stopped. She wasn't fooled. This time, I went flying up in the sky, so high I almost touched the clouds. I fell fast, not able to see what in the world was going on. Claire flew up to me, and stabbed my back. it didn't even hurt. I felt strange, like my entire body was going numb. I knew I only had a bit more energy left, so I had nothing else to do; with a huge effort I kicked Claire aside for a second, and then pointed my palm towards the sky. A strange white orb fell into my hands. I threw it at the ground; it was my only hope in every way. Claire saw my effort useless as I fell down. But when I looked, something else was there in the forest. Scaly sky blue skin, twin horns on the head, crazy big wings, that could've frightened anybody out of their wits. I saw Auburn on it's back. I fell down, and landed nicely. I laid there.

"HEY WHO BROUGHT ME HERE! I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY DINNER!"

Uh oh, and oops, and double that.
