Desperate for Love (Chapter 20)

I stared. It was Claire, and apparently she was not grinning in happiness. Her face looked like murder. I sped right at her, and she dodged my move. I looked at Auburn. She had shot a humongous arrow at Claire. It seperated into 5 arrows, which homed in on Claire. They hit with a burst of smoke, and when the fog cleared, she was gone. "She was sealed into a teleport." Auburn said. "Let's get our mind off of her for now." I walked back towards home, thinking about Claire.

"Missed me?" A voice whispered. I flew in the air, high up, and then landed hard. When I opened my eyes, I saw that Claire was standing over me. She was laughing evilly. Then somebody else came up and hit her hard. Auburn had caught up rather quick. She stared at her. "You are not allowed to hurt anybody I know." she whispered softly. She shot multiple arrows at once. The arrows flew around, homing down on her. She flew around dodging the aarrows slowly but surely; and every single one got collided into nothingness. She looked at Auburn, who was no longer smiling. Her face showed only seriousness and anger. I looked at her eyes. They held fiercely. She shot multiple arrows, each of them hitting harder and harder and faster and faster. She looked at Claire's grimace.

She spun so fast at Auburn I barely had time to speed up and block her. My block was at a bad angle, and the sword flew high up in the air. "Who the heck do you think you are?" she whispered. The spear homed in on me. I spun up in the air, managed to grab the sword, then swung at her. Maybe she was stupid, but the next thing I knew the sword was through her stomach. She grimaced. "You think that would hurt me? You must be joking." she said. She blasted a wave of air, my sword flew outside of range, and she sped at me. Auburn's arrows hit her, but she ignored the fleeting pains. She hit me with a humongous force.

I spun in the air, wildly. My eyes closed, as I realized where I was landing was lava in a volcano. So this was the end of me. I hoped Auburn could be able to attack Claire as hard as possible and defeat her...by herself.

I closed my eyes.
