Desperate for Love (Chapter 21)

When I opened my eyes, I was definetely dead....I knew that. Yet there was a crackling fire up ahead. I walked up, and saw a person sitting by the fire. He turned around.
"I knew you'd come here eventually." my father said. I stared. This meant something else was going on...or was this really how you live after death? I walked up to him, and sat down on one of the logs. "Father," I said. "I want to ask you something." he looked at me. "Hmm?"
"Why did you kill yourself?" I said in barely a whisper. He stared; this wasn't exactly a topic he wanted to bring up. He looked down. "Happiness is a neccesity in life; and when your mother told me to get out of the house, I felt no more of that neccessity." he said rather dully. Then, I asked a question, a stupid one, like a 4 year old.
"Am I dead?" I heard myself say. He looked up, and smiled. "No." he whispered. A surge of surprise was sent through.
"This comes down to my second part in everything." he said. "When I died, I actually found out your secret before you even knew anything. When the suicide of a loved one occurs, pain is released, and those who miss them feel like killing themselves too. Yet, if a person was to be killed by somebody else, not try to fight from it, and yet embrace death like a friend..." he pointed at me. "You have one minute here left...unless you want to go on." he pointed. I saw there was a simple car with a driver.
"Where will it take me?" I asked. He smiled. "On." he said rather simply. "Or, perhaps you have a couple seconds left." he said. I stared at him. A green wave suddenly shot down at me. It looked like it was about time. He looked at me. "You know, none of us ever seemed to realize the importance of death, and life. Both are coming straight at you. And when loved ones die, there is only pain, no meaning in the death. Yet revival...makes you feel love once again." he whispered. I stared at him. "Father..." I whispered. "I understand now. I forgive you for what you did." He smiled at me, the glint of his blue eyes dazzling. "Thank you." he said.
I shot up the sky, and I still looked at him. He stood up
"Now I can finally approach your aunt now."

Really good chapter. Made me think of Harry and Dumbledore in the 7th book.
But I didn't really understand that last line about his aunt.
