Chapter One

I woke up. Everything was a blur. It seemed so real. Well, at least it didn’t happen. Seriously, I thought you were supposed to wake up from nightmares. It seemed like actually being arrested was real. The handcuffs around my wrists I thought were a dream. Unfortunately it was not. I couldn’t help trying to break through. My dream was getting executed just because I know too much. I was in school minding my own business when they came in. They just barged in. I’ve always hated the Time Police. They’ve been so cruel. It all happened at the cafeteria of my school, James Barnett. “Is there any shadow timers here?” asked a man with big biceps and standing very portly. I had to walk forward. None of any of the boys of the high school stepped forward-tried to help me. It was horrible. It was raining during the arrest. I couldn’t bare my dead friend, Matthew. Well at least I think he is. I did not know more than a rotten pickle.
