Chapter Two

I couldn’t feel my hands.  Heck, I couldn’t feel ANY of my body.  The steel chain was wrapped too hard around me.  I was pretty sure my arms had callused all the way over.  The blood from my nose dripped, staining my T-shirt.  My mouth was gagged so tightly, all I could actually do was make a very soft humming sound.

“How you enjoying your stay, pretty girl?”  A Bane on my left asked me.

I gagged a cuss word in response.

He laughed.  “Oh, I’m sorry, GIRLY.  I forgot!   You’re gagged!”  He laughed hysterically.

I wanted to punch his teeth out so badly.  I gagged a whole string of curses this time.  All of a sudden, he stood up, bringing his M-16 up to my head.

“If you try ANYTHING, stupid girl, then I will blow your brains out.  Got it?”

I gagged a “Yes, dumbutt.”  Good thing he can’t understand me.

He left the room, probably to pee or something.

But I just sat there, tied up to a chair with a steel chain with the thickness of my muscular arm.

I stared at the moonlight silently, thinking one thought:  Please, Tucker, help me!

The door bust open, and the sound of a gunshot filled the room.  The bullet cracked strait through my shin. I screamed through my gagged mouth, and tried to put pressure on the wound.  But, of course, I couldn’t.  So I sat in my chair, screaming wildly in pain while the Bane who shot me was laughing so hard, I thought I saw a tear in his eye.  I tried cussing him out again, but I knew he’d not understand me.

I took a deep breath, taking the pain like I would Skittles, or popcorn.  Then, all I could feel was blank.

My consciousness regained when the guard Bane splashed a whole bucket of water on my face.  I felt that they had bandaged my shot shin, but I was still light-headed, probably from loss of blood.

“Wake up, sleeping beauty!”  He said in an overly-friendly voice.

I groaned.  I tried to ask him why the heck he shot me, but the gag kept me from even speaking English.

He turned around and started pacing.  I took the moment to shake the hair band out from my curls.  It fell quite easily, but it landed on the ground next to me.

I tried to reach it, but my arms aren’t five feet long.  I wasn’t paying attention, and the guard pushed my chair over.  I hit the ground, my arm scraping, hurting like heck.  I took the pain without any screams or noises.  And while I was on the ground, my hair band two millimeters from my fingertips, guess what I did?

That’s right.  I hid the hair band inside my torn sleeve as he pulled me up.  My shoulder burned and had a gash in it.  But I took the pain with a smile, hidden by a certain gag.

Really awesome. Love it. I

Really awesome.

Love it.

I don't have much C.C except for maybe to include some more description...?

Anyways, I really like this story, but what's she going to do with the hairband? If it's a dumb question, sorry about that. I suck at inferring.

I love you style of writing, btw. It's very alluring how it speaks in a tone that people our age can relate to, therefore making it more interesting and enjoyable to read ;)
