The Forest Avengers Chapter 1 Part 1...Please read and comment

Chris sighs looking up at the empty rode longing for his cousin, Jeffery,to come to San Saba for the Christmas break. Chris looks to his left at his other cousin Meredith. She already lives in San Saba. He sees a gloomy, grumpy face on Meredith. She pulls out her phone, and dials Jeffery's number. Hearing the annoying “ring” several times, she nearly throws her phone down from aggravation.

“I still can't get a hold of him. When is he going to be here!”, Meredith said.

She sits on the porch swing. She laid her head in Chris's lap.

“He knows that its important that he gets here by sundown so we can go and start building the new fort”.

She looks back down at her phone to see what time it is. It is 6:07 P.M. But it is winter, so the sun sets at 6:30. Sitting back up, she stretches her arms yawning from boredom. She stands up and walks inside, with Chris still siting on the porch swing.

“Audrey get off your lazy bum so we can go and scout were we are going to put the new fort,” Meredith said in a rude way to audrey.
