Friday 2

I deleted the first Friday because well. . . that's why I'm writing this. . . So I'll start typing.

Today was the Friday that me and my friend were supposed to do the Talent Show. My dad called her mom last night so we could practice in the morning. I was really excited. The next day (today) her mom called & said that she was sick & couldn't practice in the morning or even come to school. I was sad. I ran to my room so my parent's didn't see me cry. I even painted my nails. I got them un-painted. And I even had my hair in a braid in the night so my hair would be curly. When I went to school, my teacher said I'm sorry that I couldn't peform. All my friends said sorry & even offered for me to join their acts. All the acts were great. I was just sad that I couldn't peform. And get this, every girl in my class performed! She was sick, I can't blame her, she was sick. Or I think she was. . .

It was really fun to watch even though I didn't peform. I don't know if I should trust my friend anymore. What if she faked being sick? What if she thought we would mess up? What if? I don't know what to do! If she really was sick, I'm going to see if my teacher will let us peform. Thanks for reading!
