in A place so far from were I want to be...
Henry awoke. Asher was talking to his mother, and Sally was asleep. She was lying on the grass, with her thumb in her mouth. Occasionally she would moan in her sleep. The fire and the zombie were there too. Henry looked at her fondly. He removed his big coat, and laid it over her like a blanket. She snuggled into it, and Henry walked over to his mother. He hugged her tight, and looked into her eyes.
“Has dad gone to get help?” he asked, wishing that the feeling in his gut wasn’t real.
“I’m sorry… he didn’t make it out.” Without noticing, Henry slowly rocked back and forth on the spot. He then started to sob, then to wail with grief. His father was gone… dead. Sob’s racked his body, and as he shuddered with every cry the bone slipped. It slowly came more and more out of his leg, before a sickening crash was heard and the bone, unable to twist a certain way, had snapped in half. The splinters of bone dug into his leg, as he twisted on the floor. His mother screamed, and started to move towards him. Asher looked worried, and Sally sat up screaming. Henry’s blood was gushing out of him, turning the grass around him a dark scarlet. Asher ripped a strip of material from his t-shirt and cut off the flow of blood. He pulled the bone out, and threw it to the side. He muttered something, and slipped his hand into the mangled hole in Henry’s leg. It glowed for a second then started to heal. It closed up, and the scar vanished in a second. A few of Asher’s blond hairs grew longer. He stood, up before falling to the floor. Sally crawled over to him.
“Asher? Are you ok?” she shook his shoulder slightly. He groaned and tried to reach out to her. A small ball of green fire flew from his hand, and into the war wall of the house. A colossal explosion sent the house crumbling into peaces. It fell, sending a giant dust cloud engulfing the garden. They all started to cough, and as the dust settled, there was one figure standing. Henry’s father lurched towards them; they looked shocked at the splinter of wood impaled in his head. His dusty skin was slightly green. He moaned, and started to drag himself towards Henry and the others.
