The Heroes of the Gods (Chapter twenty four)
in a wonderful world of imagination. Okay, that sounded less cheesy in my mind....
AN: I FINALLY GOT BACK TO WRITING THIS!! ;)
This isn't what I thought of Rufus the first moment I met him, but that man is the master of disguise. I guess being a son of Hermes had its up sides. He met one of the dealers, pretended that he was interested in buying a car, then knocked him out with some sort of green gas that looked suspiciously like the green smoke that comes up after someone farts in movies.
He winked at us and took the man into the dealership, then came out dressed in the man's clothes and swinging a set of keys around his finger. He was whistling to the tune of Camptown Lady and smiled when he came to meet us. "That's how I roll."
"What happened to that man?" I asked.
"He's knocked out. He has my clothes right now. But I think I look good in this outfit and I can maybe snag a few more keys to some of those fine looking Lamborginnis over there..."
"Rufus," Archie snapped. Rufus looked at him and smiled, giving him a wink. He handed me the car keys.
"So is this good-bye?" I asked.
He shrugged. "We might cross paths again, someday. My kids are going to be summer-campers at Camp Half-blood. They aren't exactly half-bloods, but they still have the scent and a few powers. Monsters bug us like heck. But we fend them off the best we can."
"Hey, when they come, we'll be there to help them out," Becca told him. She had a stern epression, but I could tell that she was trying to be interactive.
I nodded in agreement and got into the car Archie chose. I agreed with Becca. We should've chosen a better one, but this was far too fancy. It was a cherry red Ferrari with white leather seats and a black outline. It had headlights that made it look Japanese and the floor and backs of the seats were so soft, they could've been made from Polar Bear fur (although I hoped not). It was a convertable too.
Becca sat next to me and Archie sat in the back. We said our final good-byes to Rufus and we high-tailed it out of there, headed to the next couple of states. We hoped this car would last longer with the others, but with our luck, we were going to run into a rabid Pheonix or something next.
I'm beginning to think I'm physic....

Thanks, Raven!! I have to take your idea and have the kids meet you half way, but I have something in mind and it's a really good idea!!! Ugh, I am crazy tired. I'm gonna post an exerpt from a story idea and then head to bed. Note to self: Don't take Algebra 1 and athletics and expect to have time to write!!

"Imperfection is beauty. Madness is genius. And it is better to be absolutley ridiculos than absolutley boring."
<3 Rose <3
THanks Rose!! :^D Do you wanna be in it too? Raven's gonna be a charater in this one, but I might write a sequel and you can be sort of like how Thailia was, where she didn't play a huge role until later! List your Name (fake or real), personality, looks, god parent (shy away from Athena, please! And Poseidon! Any one else is cool!) mortal parent, and your looks! Thanks again! All of you!! :)
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footsteps on the moon.
OMG!!! I love this story so much!!!
