Indiana, Invincible; Chapter 3, Part 2

(It's Still Liam's POV)
I hike on my backpack and stride outside, shivering slightly in the cold wind, but when I get used to it a second later it feels wonderfully refreshing, rustling through my hair. I climb into the bus, ignoring the hopeful smiles sent my way by the few girls already in the bus; I wait for the day the bus's routine will be reversed (they do it like once every year; it gives the other kids a sense of fairness) badly.
Though, in other ways, I don't, really. It's funny.
I smile slightly to myself and walk to the middle of the bus, where seats are still empty, and go down over to the window not noticing the looks people give me along the way. I have other things to think about, especially about one tawny-eyed female who is...
Coming into the bus right now, incidentally. And, it's weird.
She doesn't look as energetic as she did before, right now - the weekend must have been getting to the girl, I decide mentally as she moves down the aisle, head down. Her eyes are hidden by her hat once again.
But I'm wrong.
As she passes me, she raises her head slightly, and I give her a sort of half-sneer, a smirk, a snicker;
Her eyes narrow, and she gives me a dangerous smile. A smile that says, Whatever you do, I don't care. I'm damn ready for it, and I'll meet it head on.

The next second, she's past me, and I turn my head to the front, wondering.
I wonder if my plan is going to work. I wonder if anything's going to work. Though she's only one man (woman, apologies to any feminists here. Doing it for the sake of keeping with the saying), not including those friends of hers, Enoch and Jenny, I am really not sure about this.
Hmm.

**Hey, sorry this is so short! Will write another one, hopefully, later today, but hope you enjoy the little tidbit that's this one!! M***
