"Sha-Sha," he said quietly. "Are you ok?" She looked at him. Her face showed the bright lines where tears fell. She nodded, then said "I dont believe that he is my father. Mom told me that he had died and she told me as soon as I could talk that she will never lie to me. I'm staying an extra day to take a blood test. You go back home."
"No," he said. "Im staying. There is no way that I'm leaving you here all alone. You'll be followed and I'll kill anyone that hurts you." He made his vow. She hugged him. "Thank you," she whispered. By the time they got back, they heard the preacher say "Thank you for attending and paying you respects. I know that where ever her family is, they'll know that she is an angel joining our Father."
As they headed back to Seresha's old home, they were met by Lee. "So what, you're following me now?" she asked bitterly. "No. You will listen to me." he demanded. "I knew your mother fifteen years ago, and we were madly in love, like you and the freak." Ason started to run toward him, but Seresha tried to hold him back.
