Loyalty Never Falters

Loyalty is a spiky white rose, rising from the frozen land.
Delicate and fragile, yet difficult to touch with hands.
A weary, bloody soldier, coming from a war,
Fighting for his country, loyal to his core.
The aroma of the pine trees, wafting through the air.
Brings me to Lake Tahoe, as some of my loyalty lingers there.
A wet Golden Retriever, leaping from the lake.
Her love is strong, her loyalty isn't fake.
A crackling inferno, the heat so very hot.
Consuming all doubt, nothing else that's not.
A Fireball candy, hot and spicy, yet sweet.
Loyalty will never crack, not even in it's heat.
A crispy croissant, hard and first glance,
But wonderful and flakey, at the second chance.
AN: I was going through my folder and found this...and thought, well, Rockshadow, this isn't...too bad, let's post it on KP. So, tell me what you think!
