Mission chapter 2

AN: Okay so i wrote this last night...its really short, but i needed to put it in! Enjoy...and please comment.. i havent gotten ANY comments yet...

Chapter Two

Eli bowed, followed be river. “Riviera, Eli” Jade nodded. “Where is Juules?” He looked around, confusion shown clearly on his face.

River glanced at Eli, and Eli nodded in turn. “Well, sir,” River started. “That is our reason for being present here. Juules has left and doesn’t plan on returning anytime soon.”

River swallowed, trying hard not to let the tears that burned her eyes show.

We are in need of a new team mate for Team Riviera,” Eli added. Jade nodded in agreement.

“I’ll have someone ready as soon as possible.” Jade said, then left the room. He soon returned with a small man.

The man was short and slightly chubby with a graying beard. “This, here, is Malu!” He turned to face Malu. “Organize the Team Trials.” He stopped, but then quickly added in, “Now!”

He nodded. “I’ll put up posters right away!” Malu said as he left the room. River sighed. The team trials weren’t really something to look forward to.
