5. Tackling a Girl… Pathetic…
The one thing that dear, Seth had forgotten, was her mouth. Gweniever didn’t need magic to get released, just a mouth, an inn keeper, and some fake tears.
That’s exactly what she did. Gwen let her mouth fall open as she screamed, letting false tears stream down her cheeks. It would only be a few moments till the inn keeper would come and help her get released. Her only problem with the way he was going to release her was an axe.
When the inn keeper did burst though the door, Gwen began sobbing, and stuttering over words, such as.
“Help me! Please… its all that boys fault, he did this too me.” The man nodded, and Gwen screamed as he brought down the axe. From the vibrations, both cuffs broke and Gwen rubbed her wrists. “Thank you…” She murmured, wiping away her tears.
“We will go find him and bring him to justice!” The man was about to storm out when Gwen let herself fall as a distraction.
“Please, no, let me get far away first, he will try and hurt me. I must get home.” The inn keeper nodded.
“I will get you a horse and some food… follow me.” Gwen did as the man said, following him to the kitchen where he handed her a pouch full of food and then showed her to the stables. “This is a horse we just got in, bring him back in a few weeks… he’s my favorite, he rides fast.” Gwen nodded, kissing the mans cheek.
“I can’t thank you enough!” Gweniever pushed her leg over the horse. She needed to hurry…

Gwen’s back grew sore as she climbed off of the horse. She had been riding for quite a while now, spotting the kingdom in the distance. Gweniever walked up to the hill and looked over it. She saw a large stand burning… with all of her stuff. A funeral, they were substituting her body with her already burnt stuff.
She couldn’t watch her ‘mother and fathers’ faces as they wept, she couldn’t even stand to look to her ‘brothers’ sad and depressed face.
Gwen looked around for her boyfriend, but couldn’t spot him. Until she looked behind a few curtains, right at the bottom of a hill. There is something about your boyfriend, laying on top of another girl, making out with her that turns a person off. Gwen felt her face boil with rage, she was about to stand up when the king stood in front of everyone, getting their attention… she needed to hear this…
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Seth rode his horse out of the small outland town and rode on his way back towards the castle. With his sudden disappearance, the king might fear that he too has died. The horse, galloping at its fastest speed, stopped as Seth pulled on the reins. He entered through the gates, they were preparing for a funeral.
Seth didn’t meet eyes with anyone, till he saw the king and queen, sitting on the stairs of the castle. The queen was sobbing and the king had tears in his eyes. He didn’t want to do this, but Gweniever had to know and they would never allow her to figure things out. It was better this way. He quickly jumped off his horse, rushing to the king. He kneeled.
“Seth!” The king forced. “Where have you been, you disappeared when you were going up to her room!” The king wrapped his arms around her.
“I felt ashamed, my lord. I was almost at her doorframe when her room blew up and I just know that if I got there sooner… I could have…” The kind put a hand on Seth’s shoulder.
“There is nothing you could have done.” The king reassured her.
“I am afraid I must leave, but I couldn’t go back home without apologizing for your lose and for my disloyalty to you, not being here when you needed me the most.” The king embraced him again.
“Do stay for some of the funeral.” The king replied, his voice low, and his face dark. It was a little more bright, but still dark and depressed as far as Seth was concerned. The horns sounded and Seth kissed the kings ring finger, turning to the funeral, and the hill. With his hawk eyes and the little head that was peeking over the hill, he groaned. Rushing back on his horse he rode up to the hill. If he didn’t get there in time, this could turn out bad.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Gweniever never got to hear what her ‘father’ was going to say. The first reason was because she was knocked to the ground by someone, or something. The second reason was that that guy was Seth. Gwen lay flat, his body draped over hers. He panted, looking into her eyes.
“What, were you going to tattle tale?” Seth hissed, still laying on her.
“No, just going to say ‘you freaking cheater’!” Gweniever reassured Seth, calmly. “and ‘Get the hell off of my you royal prat!” Seth laughed to himself, rolling off of her. The first thing she did when she stood up was slap him. The first thing he did when we stood, was fall back down. Gwen marched back to her horse, tying his and hers together.
Crap.
Seth stood but she had already climbed on.
Gweniever squeezed her horse, making a ticking sound and Seth began to stumble after himself to get to the horses, before she rode too far. It was going to be a long trip back to her fathers. That was if he could make it that far…
