AN: Just an idea I've been fiddling with. Lacy(the narrator) is starting to grow on me,  so expect more of this. Lacy- DAMN STRAIGHT! Me- Shut up. This is the Authors Note. Not the characters note. Lacy- Can I make a characters note then?Me- Whatever.

CN: Hi! It's Lacy here! Just so you know, I'm not always as emotional and boring as I am in this chapter. I'm quite funny actually! Me- Yeah right. Lacy(points)- HIPPOCRIT!

CHAPTER ONE

I stepped out of the store, the plastic bag full of milk and candy in my hand swinging left and right, knocking my legs lightly. My sister, Licia trailed behind me. The wind blew softly, making Licia's chestnut brown hair sway slightly. She always let her hair down, different to me, my blonde hair always had to be pulled into a tight ponytail, wrapped in tight black ribbons. I had worn it this way since I was seven. Licia pranced forward, her bright smile radiating.

“What do you wanna do when we get home?” she asked me.

“I'm doing homework. Then I'm going to the library.” I told her, chuckling at her extreme immaturity. We were twins, I was the oldest. Her hair used to be blonde like mine, slowly it started to change, and one day she started dying it, so thats how it became chestnut. We looked fairly alike, but she had a stronger jaw and was a tad taller.

Licia rolled her eyes. “C'mon” she smiled, turning to the road.

She stopped suddenly, and stepped back. She seemed frightened.

“Oh, not now!” she yelled angrily.

“What's wrong?” I asked, quickly racing to her side.

“Don't worry about it, just the hunters messing with me.” she explained. I frowned. The hunters ruined the moment, yet again.

“What did they do this time?” I asked.

“They duplicated that van. They made a copy hurtling towards us uncontrollably, and inserted it to my mind.”

She began to work onto the road, I grabbed her arm.

“Don't”.”

“Lacy, it's just a copy. It is an illusion. Not physical!”

“I know, but.”

She cut me off.

“Look, I know it's weird, and not convenient. Just let go.” She shook my hand from her arm and strutted forward.

“Stop!” I screamed angrily. She stopped in the middle of the road.

“I KNOW IT'S A DUPLICATE! BUT THE PARKED VAN IS THE DUPLICATE! I CAN SEE THE ONE THAT'S HURTLING TOWARDS YOU!” I screamed, panicking.

Licia screamed and tried to run, but the van caught up with her. It smashed into her, throwing her to the curb like an empty can. I screamed and dropped the plastic bag, running to Licia's side.

Her body was bludgeoned, grotesque, limp.

I screamed again, tears running down my face. I grabbed Licia's arm.

“This isn't happening!” I reassured myself. I stared down at my sister in horror, then at the driver of the van. I imagined my eyes would have been red, bloodshot, fierce, because the driver broke into tears.

I leaned on Licia's chest. It hardly moved. Her breaths were short and numbered. I cried more, my tears sliding down my face and into her wounds.

“Don't leave me.” I whimpered. I checked her pulse. It was nearly gone.

“Call an ambulance!” I begged, not turning my attention from Licia. My head started throbbing. A crowd had began to gather.

“The hunters did this! They did this!” I shrieked, my heart full of hatred. Suddenly I heard the sound of an ambulance, loud and clear.

It parked next to the curb, several people hopped out. I hardly noticed. Licia had my undivided attention. The doctors could go to hell if they thought that they would be separating us.

An ambulance officer ran up to us, a stretcher in tow. He pushed me away gently. A did not fight back, I was scared that I might stain my fingers with her blood.

I stared at her still, so many images running through my mind. And two words. Survival and Revenge. Flashing in bright colors.

I ran into the ambulance through the back doors. A nurse was standing in the back.

Still staring at Licia, I began to stutter.

“My sister, Licia, my sister, m- my sister.”

The nurse nodded. They pushed the stretcher into the ambulance. Immediately they started working on her, poking things in her arm, applying pressure, hooking her up to the machines, but I could only see her. Licia. My sister.

Her eyes were still open, but I knew she wouldn't be conscious for long.

“Close it up” someone yelled. The doors of the ambulance closed. I could her a humming, a sort of bussing in my ear, like someone was trying to talk with me. I was too focused on Licia to listen.

Suddenly the ambulance jolted forwards. I lost my balance and collapsed to the floor clumsily. I lost concentration on Licia.

BEEP!!

“We're losing her!”

I screamed and got up quickly, staring at my sister in horror. She was limply shaking, her eyes still open. She was conscious. She was dead, yet alive at the same time. Her eyes slid closed.

“No you don't!” I yelled. The nurse and ambulance officers started doing some things to her that I didn't understand. It was then they got out the defibrillator, a tool I had seen used on television so many times. They pushed it on her chest. Her limp body jumped. Again, and again. Suddenly, the ambulance stopped, and Licia was being raced out of the ambulance. I ran to follow them, but the nurse held me back. I pushed her to the floor and ran out of the ambulance.

“Licia!” I called.

I ran, my heart pumping. I ran into the building. I looked right and left. I couldn't see Licia. I collapsed to the floor, in a pool of tears.

The nurse that was in the ambulance ran towards me. She wrapped her arms around me.

“It's okay sweetie, but you need to get up and tell m your mothers details.” she cooed. I nodded.

I whispered quietly in her ear cautiously, the hunters could be listening.

“I'll call her, okay?”

I nodded. I walked slowly back out to where the ambulance was parked and fell to the ground. I began to shake uncontrollably, my body heating up. The more I thought about Licia the hotter I became. Each tear that dripped from my eye boiled like water on a hot stove.I closed my eyes as tight as I could, and tried my best to push the memory from my mind.

Really, really, intense!

Really, really, intense! Cool! Jazzy! (I don't know what I'm saying) Chill....the story is really descriptive. But, if you don't mind friendly KP CC, I'd like to point out some. :)

1st: Who are the hunters? It's a little confusing. I don't know if the hunters are like really hunters, people wanting to ambush someone down, or like a family called the Hunters. ???

That's it. I only have one minor CC and my last. Great! Continue on! :D
