Oh why, the disguise?~~~A POEM (please read; thanks!)

A/N: I think I actually overcame my writer's block/writer's doubt. Wow. That definitely takes some weight off my shoulders. Anyway, I want to apologize for my lack of involvement here on Kidpub. I've been really busy and like I said, I haven't been able to write anything. I really hope you guys like this poem! It kinda just came to me. Nothing great but it's something. Oh why, the disguise?

I really can’t say

That I believe everything

That comes out of your mouth

I really can’t say

That you were everything

I thought you were

I really can’t say

I will spend the rest of

My life with you

I really can’t take

You home to my parents

Because I know that

They really can’t see

Through the wall you hide

Your heart behind

I really have no proof

That you would jump in front

Of the bullet, to save me

I really can’t blame them

If they don’t believe the fact

That beneath your disguise

I found love in you
