A/N - For all you who are wondering, wha...? This is a book that I am doing with Jack D and Chapter one has been posted, in fact it is linked to this. Jack D and I are BOTH posting it so when he puts something I will make a comment on my chapter - so everybody who commented can see, that there is another chapter out, and so you can get to it! :D He is going to do the same... I think... :)

The Sketch Pad

Paragraph Description

Ellie Jacobs has been living in Geremany ever since she could remember. But the year of 1941 would be the year she remembered most. Throughout the World War and her daily life in Geremany, things have been as normal as they had ever been. But when her home begins to get bombed she is forced to move to Amsterdam and struggle with the fairs of war, the rations for food, and the pained look on Jews face's as they were hauled away to concentration camps. Ellie's parents don't see the Jews the way Ellie does. They think of them like Hitlar thinks of them. Dirty, guilty, and a waist of space. Ellie, determined to help at least one of the jews, finds a boy of her age named; Andrew Dawe.

Ellie decides to let Andrew and his mother and father hid out in a secret fort in the woods that she had set up for this situation... Andrew, who spends most his time drawing art, begins to draw Ellie a picture of what this war and his family needs to him. Caught around in this web, Ellie is determined to help this family. Andrew, who is half German, half Jewish, is not allowed out into public because of the risk, but when Ellie's younger sister mysteriously disappears, she brings him out to draw a picture of what must have happened.

Solving this mystery, and hopefully having the great war end is all that Ellie wants. Will Ellie's parents find out that their daughter is hiding Jews? Will they find her sister? Find out in this mystery/adventure novel titled 'The Sketch Pad'.
