A Really Random Section of Writing that is Far Too Long to be Describing in this Short Little Title Space (Haha, Oops)
in the City, riding a Paperwing dragon with Levi. Because he's my favorite person ever. EVER.
So, as I posted on AN, I was frustrated that my writing aspirations were considered rather pointless, a pipe dream, and so forth. That made me angry. Quite angry. So I went upstairs to my room, and proceeded to write about 6,000 words, partially thanks to the encouragement of Lucky, Camille, and Kyle. Thanks guys :)
Anyway, I thought I'd post an excerpt of what I wrote from this currently untitled story. In this scene, the main character is searching for information about a place called the Ancient World. One of her friends discovered it, but there's a huge plot twist and it's a majorly important part of the story, yadda yadda, so that's why I'm posting it. That, and I was trying to use a style one might see in a history textbook. Sorry if it's dry, that's sort of on purpose :)
Haha, this will be more interesting when I post a follow up excerpt about the city itself :D
Anyway, please enjoy, CC very much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps the most famous of all lost civilizations was the Ancient World, partially for its mystery, partially for its unique culture. The first records of the Ancient World date from nearly two thousand years ago in the means of very crude drawings and depictions of its grand architecture and frightening people.
Most “information” about the Ancient World, is in fact, mythology. What is known, or at least, what is speculated from various accounts, is that this city was extraordinarily large, holding more people than many castles and villages combined. These people were known for being extraordinarily intelligent, quite cunning, and, like the city they lived in, dark and mysterious.
The architecture of the Ancient World is what it is partially famed for. Like a castle, made of stone, every building in the city was crafted from various rocks and minerals. From more detailed drawings, it was shown as very elegant and is considered by some to be one of the most beautiful of ancient civilizations.
Many historians have searched for years in the hopes that they could discover what the Ancient World’s original name was. Unfortunately, this information is still, to this day, unknown.
It was hard for nearly any information to be collected about the Ancient World, primarily because its location is unknown. There are accounts of people who have seen this city from many different kingdoms. Some suspect that it never really did exist, and all of these sightings are nothing more than childish rumors. Others suspect that there are many of these cities around the world, but they can only be seen by a keen and open eye. However, the most widely accepted of beliefs is that the Ancient World has perhaps a bit more magic than a city, and changes location every twenty years or so.

P.S. A friend of mine continually has doubt in my writing, always saying that I have no chance and have no imagination. Another friend of mine is a major fan.

This is awesome *Smoke appears from my head* Can’t… understand… top… of… AN… Don’t… make… sense… *Head explodes* It still doesn’t make sense. It makes even less sense than me talking without a head, but that might be because I don’t have no head…

Quite frankly, that did not make a ton of sense to me :)
Hahaha, thank you so much for all of your comments! THANKS!
