Chapter Seven:
The next day was Sunday and it was, once again, spent in church. The church was just as beautiful as before, and the preacher just as wise. But for some reason, nothing could hold her attention. Her mind kept traveling back to the memories of yesterday, and how Trevor had promised an escape plan. Not only that, but he had kissed her right before he left. This had confused her for a while, but the more she thought about it, the more she realized she….liked him. This whole notion had her mind spinning, and she didn’t even realize the church service had ended until Mary tugged on her elbow telling her to get up.

“You know, Aimee, your absolutely right. Randall, when you see Billy at work, will you ask him if they are available for tea on Wednesday?”
“Of course, my dear,” Randall answered immediately.
Aimee was surprised. She hadn’t realized that Randall and Billy worked together. How convenient. And now she was going to be able to see Claire soon. Everything would be okay.
