A/N-Finally started writing the third chapter... This one is very sad...

Chapter Three

A news reporter stood in front of the cliff-the one near Lucinda's old house. "This morning we received a call that a young girl was found at the bottom of the cliff. We are not sure of who it was, but we think it is the body of Lucinda Summers-a high school student that went missing other a year ago. When we figured out that someone lived near here who had a child of the same age, we suspected that she may have belonged to them. After calling them multiple times, we sent an investigator. The images we found may be disturbing to young veiwers-parental discretion needed," the news reporter said. She walked to the house and opened the door. She held her breath as she entered. Ugh, I better not puke on live T.V. She thought.

"Here are the remains of the Johanson family. The girl on the bottom of the cliff might be Elenor Johanson-their only daughter. But here is Scarlet and Christopher Johanson." She lifted up the yellow tarp that revealed the two shredded, decapitated bodies. The severed heads were next to the body that they belonged to.

"We are not su-John, stop tilting the camera!" she stopped in mid sentance as the camera swayed from side-to-side.

"But it's gross... You know how sensitive my stomach is, Sally..." the cameraman defended himself innocently. Sally gasped as she remembered that this was live. "We're going to so get fired..." He sighed. Sally growled as she came closer to John, which recorded her coming at the camera and accadentally turning it toward John being strangled by the news reporter.

John pushed Sally off of him, staring at a halfway opened door. Sally looked too. "I thought you closed to keep out distractions," Sally said.

"I did." John started to back away. Sally lifted up the camera and pointed it towards the door, hoping she could get her job back by getting some good footage. "Holy-" The second word of John's curse was unable to be heard by Sally's shrill cry as the door slammed shut.

"Let's get outta here!" Sally cried as she ran towards the front door. She was still holding the camera and it was still aimed at the door. Just as Johns hand reached the doorknob, a butcher knife flew across the room and sliced through his arm like scissors through paper.

John screamed in agony as he collapsed on the ground, clutching the bloody stump where his lower arm once was. Sally pointed the camera towards the area the knife had been thrown. Using her other hand, she opened up the front door, running out as fast as he could.

"Sally!" John yelled. The news reporter didn't even look back. John opened his hand that was still connected to his body. A little navy blue box fell out. The box rolled until it opened, revealing the diamond engagement ring that he had saved all of his money for. In the darkness, a voice could be heard. John didn't understand what it said, he didn't hear it at all. He was too busy watching her run, facing the camera back at him.

Sally winced as she heard another one of John's screams fill the air. She didn't care about him, she cared about getting away...

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye, then it's just a game. Find the eye.-Sergant McFluffers

I find it highly logical to speak in a manner akin to that of Mr.Spock.-JS
