Chapter Two
Not too long after Lucinda supposively died, her parents had moved away. Leaving their old house near the forest. A few days ago, it finally got it's residents. A family of three, the kid being in the same class as me. Her name was Eleanor. She looked simalar to Lucinda, despite the fact that they acted differently. Elenor was very shy and quiet, she could walk out of the school and have no one notice.
It was Eleanor's third day at my school. She liked it, but she still didn't have much friends, none actually. She was walking home when she saw the forest. Not wanting to end up getting lost in it, she took a different way to her house. The way alongside a cliff. She was a good distance away so falling would be a small chance. There was still a chance, though.
Her school uniform skirt blowed in the breeze. She noticed that the forest was actually near here. An ominous wind picked up as she began to think of things, the worst of things a new high school girl could think of.
It looked as if the forest was moving closer. Eleanor began to walk faster, seconds later sprinting. Just out of no where a tree root appeared, causing her to trip over it. She sighed as she saw the tear in her school uniform shirt. Brushing her black hair out of her face, she stood up. Slowly stepping over the root.
It's all in my head. It's all in my head. It's all in my head... Eleanor assured her self as she continued walking. She still had the same feeling but ignored it.
"Are you sure that it's all just in your head?" a voice asked. The words were femine and slurred, it was high pitched like the howling wind. Eleanor stared at the forest, the hair on her head sticking out like a frightened cat's. All at once she felt a blast of energy hit her as the wind did, knocking her off of her feet.
She tried to get up but the energy was continueously hitting her, causing her to go back down as she sat up. Pieces of rock were picked up with the wind, their sharp edges hitting her. She could feel flesh being ripped off, blood spraying and going behind her with the wind.
"You'll do just fine..." the voice said. Eleanor could feel something touch her arm and begin to drag her. A rock had hit her eye and she covered the other one to protect it; she couldn't see a thing. She couldn't tell if it was claws or bony fingers that clung to her arm.
She felt herself being risen up and thrown. She let out scream as she felt a rock penatrate her chest. She never knew what it was or what had thrown her, because she didn't open her eyes...
