Ok you might be a bit confused as to who wants Kerryn. So, this next chapter will explain. It’s about a man named Faramot. He wants Kerryn.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

“Jade, here NOW!” bellowed Faramot. The large firebird landed on the large top of the castle top. She was one of the last few remaining firebirds of this century. Looking like a large eagle draped in flames ranging in color from yellow, red, orange, blue, and event the hottest of flame colors, green. She was as large as a bear and just as fierce. The fire did not burn her or anyone else lest she wanted it to. Faramot had taken her from her mother’s nest that a villager told him about; though that villager was usually taken for crazy because firebirds were considered birds of myth since their recent rarity (1000 years) Faramot listened. He’d sent out a crew of bold men to capture her from her mother’s nest when she was just a nestling, that was seven years ago.
“Jade, have you seen Daniel recently in your flights? He’s supposed to be back soon.”
“No, my lord,” the firebird replied.
Like Kerryn he to possessed the same powers, but he knew their extent unlike her. He wasn’t like Kerryn who kept animals she could talk to as friends, or pets. He kept them as workers, or his minions, they did whatever he told them to do. It’s not because they wanted to, it was because they had no other choice. Faramot used his power to make them do his will. That is an extent of the power he had found out that Kerryn has yet to find.
“What could that blasted lazy bum be doing? You should have been able to spot him by now. The perimeters of my land are greatly extended and you circle them daily. Hmmm, keep an eye out still Jade, dismissed.” With that she took off with a rush of pure power that shook the tower only slightly. “Servants, I need servants. I want to go to my study and I must have some tea.”
Another thing about Faramot that you should also know is that is he’s a prince. Well, he think’s he is. He’s just a ruler of a great expanse of land. Another true King rules over him and other ruler’s, or lords (land-lord). The king favors him greatly due to the fact that he has a legendary firebird. No one but the residents (workers, minions, not servants, partners in crime, etc) of the castle knows of his power.
A servant rushed to his side. “Yes, my lord I shall have the tea right and ready in your study promptly.”
“Good.” With that he strode off and into the castle’s many winding hallways. When he reached his study he sat down poured tea and called to Dussel. A large man built like stone in black clothing walked out of the shadows nearby.
“Yes.”
“I have business to discuss with you now. Also you have failed to call me ‘my lord.’”
“I don’t answer to you but to myself, I am my own ruler and it shall stay that way.”
“Hmmm, very well. Try not to push me in that manner to much though.” Dussel only grunted in response. “Have a seat we need to talk.” He pulled up a chair, sat down, and helped himself to some tea which, in a manner, made him look less stony but still very intimidating.
“Alright what have you got for me,” asked Dussel.
“I’m going to tell you of my plan for the girl.”
“The girl you had Daniel take?”
“Yes, she is of high importance to me. Long as I can get her and use her before the end of the year.”
“When exactly was she kidnapped?”
“About three weeks ago. And I have still have three months till the end of the year.”
“So, tell me you shall do what with her when she arrives?”
“I shall treat her like a princess and keep her here. After a time her trust will be mine and I will be able to get her to say these words, ‘Ala Kien Youri Haveni.’”
“And those words mean what?”
“They say my power is yours.”
“That’s sure a lot for four little words.”
“Yes, but first I must teach her how to use her power. I must nurture it. Because when it reaches full bloom I shall have her trust and her power will strengthen mine, through her of course. As long as she’s near her power is mine and I shall draw on it. The best part will be that she won’t even know it till it’s gone.”
“You shall do what then?”
“Over through the throne of course!”
“Well, what a mighty big plan of yours. How shall I be in it?”
“Ah, you shall greet her when she arrives as me so she will not hate not me but you. I shall play the role of a worker here. You must also find out how I am to win over her trust because I’m not in practice of earning trust usually I say for them to do it and they do I need no trust.”
“Well, I like playing your role but how shall I get to find her trust spot?”
“I don’t know, I’m not the minion. If that fails I can tempt her into saying the words by using her weak point.”
“Let me guess. You want me to find that out as well.”
“Ding ding ding we have a winner.”
