The Snow Leopard Chronicles: Chapter 3- Roses

I woke up from a deep sleep as Adrian decided to wake me up rather abruptly by jumping me. "You have to stop that your over 40 pounds."
[And that's alot?]
"Yes," I said rubbing sleep from my eyes, "Now what was your brilliant steak worthy plan?"
[My brilliant steak worthy plan was that we buy some roses and while you dance people can pay for roses.]
[Why would they buy them from me?] I said cocking my head.
[Because, I'm delivering them] he said with pride in his voice.
"You? Hmm...not a bad idea after all. We can start with a dozen then if needed, more."
[Steak worthy?]
"Two dozen is small steak worthy." I replied as we walked out of our condo and onto the street.
[I can do that, steak is steak] We walked into the market and wandered around till we came across a flower booth.
"A dozen red roses please," I said to the old woman who ran the booth.
"Who's the lucky man?." She said.
"No, it's not for a young man." I said blushing.
"Why not? All alone? There are plenty young men for a pretty girl like you. Look over there," she said pointing to a group of men, "lots of men for you including the young prince who's visiting this year."
"No I just...enjoy roses," I said once again blushing.
"Ok then one copper." I handed her the copper and quickly grabed the roses. "Make sure that we don't shop their again Adrian."
[Why the roses are perfectly fine.] He said confused.
"Never mind," I replied.
Soon we apeared by our regular spot. Jemal saw us and quickly left. I piled the roses against the market arch and yelled, "Roses for sale! Roses for sale. Only half a penny." Then started to dance in time with Kira's playing. After a few sales people started to catch on and the roses went quickly. I sent Adrian to the old lady for more roses because I was still embarassed. You wouldn't think that it's a big deal but here people usually get married at the age of sixteen or seventeen and I was more than elgible. I never wanted to deal with telling a man that I was not a shapeshifter but a mortal. What sensible man would marry a mortal woman. No one. I put the thought out of my head and started to dance again. A bit later he came back with three dozen roses.
By the end of the day we had sold six dozen roses and gained a rather large audience. "Thank you Adrian, that was a grand idea."
[Steak? Big steak?]
"Is steak all you think about?"
[What!? I'm a preaditor I can't help it.]
"Ok a small one-"
[Small one!] He roared.
"Calm down!" I said, " We don't want to spend all of the extra money. Anyway do you want a big one now or several small ones?"
[Small one now] He said laying back down in his bed.
"Good, now eat up and take a nap. If were lucky we can catch the fireworks later."
[Fireworks? What are those?] He said his eyes wide.
"They are big shows of exploding light."
[Cool I want to go!] Adrian said leaping up.
"Sure. Just finish up and sleep."
[Ok sleep] And promptly he fell asleep.
