Chapter 1

50 years later.

Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit sat watching a small T.V. "What are you guys watching?", asked Sonic the Hedgehog as he ran by. "Remember last week-that robber who stole a bunch of money and got away? Well they're talking about him on the news, he just got caught.", answered Amy. "Why are you even intrerested?", asked Sonic. "I just want to see who caught him, and how.", answered Amy. "Be qiuet,it's back on.", said Cream. Amy moved a little so Sonic can watch too. "I am standing in front of this bank-a bank which last week lost almost one million dollers. The robber which stole this money, was caught last night around 11:00. Bystanders which saw this have stated that this hero or heroine looked a lot like our speedy blue hedgehog, Sonic. But we have gotten a photo, which shows that there's a new hedgehog in town. Here is the picture.", said the news reporter. When she was done talking it showed the picture. "Wow, it does look a lot like you, Sonic.", said Amy. "But I'm not a girl.", said Sonic. "It would be impossible, anyway.", said Knuckles the Echidna as he walked by. "What does that mean?", Sonic asked suspicously. "'Cause, you aint cute!", said Knuckles. "I'm going to get you for sayin' that!", yelled Sonic as he began to chase Knuckles. "Come on, I thought you were the fastest thing alive.(the line 'fastest thing alive' was used in the original Sonic the Hedgehog theme song)", called Knuckles as he began to outrun Sonic. "When I'm done with you, you'll never ever be able to out run me again!", yelled Sonic as he tackled Knuckles, and they began to wrestle on the ground.

"I don't get guys, especialy Knux.", said Amy. Cream blushed right when she heared Knuckles name. "Well that's odd, because I seem to understand him perfectly.", said Cream. Amy sighed then said, "Cream, you don't want to get Knuckles-wait did you just blush? Oh great-I should have known. The youngest of the team has fallen in love." "I don't love him-I have a crush on him.", corrected Cream. "It's about the same thing, Cream.", said Amy. Cream quickly changed the subject by saying,"you know that hedgehog on the news, well I'm thinking that we should meet her, it would be an awsome member for the team." "Great idea, but how would we find her?", asked Amy. "We would have to get the one person who is great at finding things.", answered Cream. "Who wo-no I know who you're talking about. I'm not going to ask Rouge the Bat for help.", said Amy.

"There she is.", said Cream as she ran over to the sunbathing bat. Amy was trailing behind. "What do you want?", asked Rouge. "We need to find somebody.", answered Cream. "Do I know this person?", asked Rouge. Cream shook her head. "I traced off of the photo on the news, here it is.", said Cream and then she gave Rouge the picture. Cream had colored it too.

"That's odd, she looks really familiar.", said Rouge. She took out another picture, looked at it then hid it qiuckly. "What is that a picture of?", asked Cream. "Nothing.", said Rouge. "Can I see it? Please.", asked Cream making a inoccent face. "Okay, but this only time.", said Rouge. She gave Cream the picture. "How did you get this?", asked Cream. It was a picture of Rouge and Shadow. "She does look like Shadow-only a female version, with green and blue streaks instead of red.", said Amy as she peered over Cream's shoulder. "I got that last year.", said Rouge. "Are you going to help us find her?", asked Cream. Rouge sighed then answered,"sure."
