The Stones of Coromatto (Chapter 14)

Chapter 14

"Wha-what do you mean?" I asked.

"You know what I mean, Daisy." The voice, Vidik, boomed.

Vidik stepped into view. I screamed. He had a nose that was crooked, and was leaking with blood. He had one blue eye and one brown one. The brown one was cut open. He had scars and gashes decorating his face.

He smiled. More than half his teeth were missing or broken. He snapped a charcoal covered finger. The ropes that were bounding me to the chair fell. I stood up, still staring at Vidik.

"Make a move!" He snarled.

I stood up and started running towards the door.

"Wrong move!" He cackled. He snapped again, and metal bars slid down over the door and the windows. I made another move. I grabbed the earth stone and put it in my pocket.

Vidik made a strange hissing noise and said, "You're not going to get away with it, girl!" He smiled, and I noticed a tiny red tongue flickering around behind what was left of his teeth.

"What kind of monster are you?" I shreiked, helping myself to the air stone.

"One of a kind!" He told me. He held his arms up over his head and flexed his muscles. Then, the transformation began.

Until, he was no longer an ugly, deformed person, he was a 12 foot tall, slimy beast. He was purple, was ozze dripping from his eyes and hair covering his body like a coat. He had the same, different colored eyes. (Is this desciption good enough, Stara?)

I did the only thing I could thing of. I screamed.
