I could only fight back tears for a matter of seconds. Lia... I thought... Gone.... I stared at the shattered remains of the earth stone. No... No, please. Let those pieces be my imagination. Let the earth stone still be in one piece. Of course, it wasn't my imagination. Lia was gone. There was nothing I could do about.

Vidik was grinning madly. "I rule!" He sang, a smirk on his disgusting monster face, "I kidnapped the mayor, I killed your mother, and I destroyed the earth stone. I rule!"

After the sadness, anger erupted from my chest. I glared at Vidik. It was all his fault. If it weren't for him, Lia would still be alive. All his fault... All his...

"ARGGG!!!!" I leapt at him, using all my power and energy. I couldn't control myself. Anger that had been bubbling up inside me since the day the stones were stolen came out. All of it. I teared at his scales and bit his bumpy skin. Everything was his fault. If he hadn't stolen the stones.... none of this would have happened. I still would be in Coromatto. I would still have a mother. A mayor I could trust. A best friend.

When I finally let go of him, he stumbled back. I noticed his brown eye was poking out slightly. Every time it quivered, he winced. I realized his power must be coming from his eye. The brown eye must be un-natural. Perhaps his source of power. And I had to get rid of it. 

"You..." I growled in a deep voice.

"Daisy-" He started. He almost sounded... desprate.

"You killed my mother..."

"Daisy... please..." Vidik whined.

"You kidnapped the mayor..."

"Daisy..." He cried, throwing out his arms.

"And you killed my best friend! I'm going to kill you!" I shrieked, "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!!"

He was flat against the wall now, as if afraid of me. I took a step towards him. "Why?" I demanded, "Why did you steal the stones? Why are you doing this to me?!"

"Daisy- I can explain..." He started.

"No. I'm going to kill you!" 

"Daisy... if you let me live for ten more minutes, I promise I'll explain."

"Fine." I said, grimly, "Explain,"

"You see, It's my father... Amerzeek, he's evil..."

"What?" I spat, "And you're not?"

Vidik stared right into my eyes, "Amerzeek is worse. It was all his idea. He made me do everything. He ordered me to do that all... He was the one who stole the light stone..."

I grimaced, "So... You're blaming my mother's death and Lia's death on him?"

"Well... your friends death was my fault..." I shot him a look. "But your mother... that was his idea!!" He offered.

"OK, enough. I'm killing you now!" I stood on my tip-toes, reached my finger up, and poked out his brown eye.
