As Caius dozed in his little wooden chair by the warm, parlor fire, he listened to his father as he majestically told the tale of Broness the Rhast Ridder.

"Long ago," Girst started,"Honay was a desolate place, the water rotten, the mountains devoid of life, and valley villages were under attack. The persuars were the horrible people of Rhast. Every day and night a village would fall, until there was only one, the village Contair in the Endless Valley.

"In this village, a brave, young man called Broness started to train his fellow villagers to become warriors, so they had a chance when the fight came to them. It took the Rhast five days to scale the Mever Mountain range, and two more to go down, into the Endless Valley. Still, it took them a whole day to find Contair, and they saved the attack for the next day.

"The villagers attacked that night, putting the Rhast off guard. Because they weren't expecting them to attack, and with the element of suprise also used, the Rhast had no chance. Their leader, Junto, fled to the mountains, Broness following close behind, intent on ending his people's suffering.

"On the very peak of Mt. Mever, Broness caught up with Junto and they had a deadly swordfight, for both sides.

"The people of Contair  went into hiding after freeing the people of Honay. And to this day, they are said to help people throughout Honay, in memory of the first hero."
