Transformations Chapter Two
The door explodes and pieces of door were flying all around us. There was a figure walking towards us through the smashed pieces of door. The figure was wearing all black and I was sure he was a Wicket, whatever that was.
I stood there with my jaw hanging open. Z casually reached behind her and took out two swords.
Z threw a sword at me and said, “Think fast!”
Luckily, I caught it.
Z said, “Now,” and moved toward the figure.
I knew she was about to slash the figure so I moved forward. Our swords were parallel and struck the figure at the same time. There was a huge explosion and then a blur of white fluff. Snow.
“Snow? Why Snow?” I ask Z confused.
Z answered, “Each monster is based on a season. The coldest ones are cruel.”
All of a sudden, it felt really cold in the closet and it was full of snow. They pushed the snow out of their way and made it back through the closet door and into the hallway.
They returned to the cafeteria. It was chaos. Food was everywhere. Food was on the ground. In people’s hair, shoes, clothes. It was plastered on walls. I looked up and into my eye landed a big drop of chocolate. Still delicious.
The same man, as before, stood up and transformed a part of his shirt into a microphone. This time he sounded worried and frazzled.
“I need your attention. Sadly, we have lost our Seer, Jake. He has been kidnapped by the Wickets.”
