Transformations -Chapter 2 page 2

"Everyone stay calm," the man with the microphone said weakly,while sweat poured down his face.

Z leaned over to me and said, " That is the great, great, great, grandson of The Organizer, our Founder."

"Everyone, please return, um..umm..your tree homes....except maybe Zoe, Mona and John, please. Thank you." said the Organizer

Everyone sighed and reluctantly returned to their tree homes. Zoe, Mona and a boy about their age were left alone in the cafeteria with the Organizer.

The Organizer introduced me to the boy.  "This is John, he is our best swordsman."

I heard Z make a "hmphh" and saw her eyes narrow at John. I looked John up and down. He was a little taller than me, had short light brown hair,,brown eyes, freckles and crooked teeth.

John said, "Hi" and quickly waved his hand. He looked surprised and pretty nervous around two girls. One of which was growling at him.

The Organizer cleared his throat and gave Z a stern look. "I selected you three.  Zoe because you are the most experienced on missions. John, you are our best swordsman. Monda, we will see shortly if the seer was correct about you.  I hope to see you three again. You have until sunrise to prepare yourself. Zoe, you should know how to prepare yourself and your team to find and rescue Jake.  Jake must be rescued alive at all costs."
