The True Power of Ice:Book One:Chapter Twelve

Katie smiled at Marcus, and he smiled back. "Can you show me around?" Lilli asked.
"No, but I know some one who can," Katie said.
"I can't either, if that's what you mean," Jet told Katie.
"Follow me," Katie said to Lilli. Lilli followed Katie. "This is Emily," Katie said, gesturing to a girl with carmel colored hair and green eyes.
"Hi," said Emily. She smiled at Lilli.
"What's your power?" Lilli asked Emily.
"Water," Emily replied. "I'm Jet's fourth, third times removed cousin."
Jet appeared next to Lilli and Emily. "Yep," he said. "We're distant relatives." Emily nodded.
"Where's Katie?" Asked Lilli.
"Any one who knows Katie knows she's probably used her psychic powers to get to some psychic kid class or something like that," Emily said.
"Yep," Jet agreed. "That sounds like her." He nodded. Him and Emily held hands. "C'mon Lilli," beckoned Jet. "Hold my hand." Lilli smiled.
"See you guys," Emily said and ran off. Lilli and Jet both smiled, everything felt so right. Lilli leaned against Jet. Suddenly, they teleported. They were standing in a flower garden near a stream. Lilli blushed.
"Did you do that?" Lilli asked Jet.
"Of course I teleported us," Jet laughed. "Couldn't you tell?"
"Of course I could," Lilli giggled. "Of course you did." She sighed, what a wonderful night. The sun was setting, and everything seemed so...perfect.
