Unstable Planets: Raging Wind Ch. 2

in my study, trying to think of more books

When matthew woke up the next morning he automatically remembered the night before. It was hard to forget since everyone was in an excited mood when he got up, and there was an air of expectancy wafting through the house, lighting up even the most calm person into a nervous state.

as he lumbered down the hallway to wait in line for the bathroom, he passed several of the children whose families also occupied his home; it was hard not to, there were at least five families living in the single family house.

maybe i should go into detail now, i am probably leaving you with more questions then answers. Matthew lives on the planet Friontica, a planet with intense winds which are above a level 5 hurricane, and they are non-stop. There is only one known city, Gabligello, which is starting to get very ( or should i say severely) over crowded. There is also another huge problem with Gabligello, it moves.

Yes, it literally moves. Every so often, the wind catches the city and moves it to a knew location. Now i know i know you are wondering how can the wind catch the city and move it? the answer is actually a simple one, the city is in a giant dome of glass and metal alloy. Local myth is that the materials that became the dome was made when it rained fire.

Now that i have satiated your questions let us go back to the hero of this story, whose destiny shall lead him to be either the victor or the loser.

Finally Matthew made it to the bathroom after having to push his way through the blocked hallway and got in line after four other people. After about half an hour later it was his turn in the bathroom. he quickly showered, got dressed, brushed his teeth, washed his face, and combed his hair. He briskly got out of the bathroom and walked downstairs to find it bustling with activity. Usually it is bustling with activity, but today it was even more so. The women were making breakfast and other morning chores while the men were around a table overflowing with complex maps and equations, constantly picking up their hand held radio's talking to people, recieving information, and sending new information out.

Matthew walked over to his father who was working at the table with the other men and asked him "What's all the commotion about?"

His father gave him a look as if he was looking at an imbossile, until he realized that his son had just gotten up. His dad seemed to ponder the question a bit as if to find the quickest and easiest way to say and then simply stated, "Wefound a way out of here."
