A/N: I would like to dedicate this chapter to missmaple, for if she hadn't come up with her character generator, I wouldn't have had this fantastic or most of the main characters. Thank you! Oh, and enjoy!
It all began on summer solstice, 6 years after Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase left Camp Half-Blood. The years after Kronos'es fall have been rather peaceful. The grim Great Prophecy that Rachel (who was now the Camp's arts and crafts consular as well as the Oracle) uttered 10 years ago has been basically forgotten among the campers. More campers have poured in, and some have left or disappeared. But this story begins with 9 in particular. Beth, Cati, Chelsea, Serenity, Nikki, Jenna, Aren, Jack, and 'Max'ine.Differences and simalarities, they have to work together to stop evil.
The world as we know it depends on it.
Now, a group of campers are gather around a chair in the Big House. Our heroes are part of that group. Now, it's time to start the story. See what happens.
And hope for the best.
*********************************
Max, more commonly known as Maxine, looked extremely bored. She regretted coming into the Big House - It wasn't like the boy in the chair that everyone was staring at, even though he was knocked out, was cute, or was going to be in Aphrodite cabin, her own cabin which she was the leader of. So, Max deemed him unworthy of her attention. Why had she bothered coming? She sighed, and starting reapplying her lip gloss. It wasn't like she could push through the crowd of campers and keep her hair pretty.
********************************
Chelsea stared at the boy. He seemed about her age, had shaggy chocolate brown hair to just above his shoulders, and his knees were covered in scabs. She began to twirl her own electric blue hair, an annoying habit of hers. When she first came to camp at the age of 12, someone from the Aphrodite cabin had been jealous of her smooth, silky black hair, and decided Chelsea didn't deserve it (she believed). So they dyed her hair electric blue in the middle of the night. Due to her deep sleep, she hadn't been able to stop it from happening. It had been 2 years, and not a strand of her natural color had grown back. But it didn't really matter. Chelsea thought blue was an awesome color. Why shouldn't she? She was a daughter of Posedian. But back to the boy.
She didn't dare hope for another person in her cabin. It was a bit empty right now, as most of the Posedian kids left camp or had never returned, but she had stopped expecting new children of Posedian after a year ago, a new girl had died of a shadow monster bite, which had been filled with deadly poison. That's when she had realized that most Posedian children died early on because of their power. So she had stopped expecting them. But, this boy hadn't died.
Yet.
*******************************
Nikki snuck a look at the new guy again. He was pretty cute. But she wasn't going to tell him that right away. What was good was he was still alive, as he was breathing. She would have used her healing powers, but she didn't want anyone to know about her, um, unusual past. But no, back to the guy, He had been chased into camp by a hydra. He sprinted across the borders in the nick of time. After that, he'd fainted. May have been the fact he had been chased by something from a history textbook, or the appearance of Chiron. It's not every day you see a centaur. Acutally, Nikki was one of the few who wasn't suprised by Chiron's true form. That, was due to her unique past. Back to the present.
Nikki knew for sure that this boy could not possibly be her brother. There had only ever been one demi - god child of Iris - Nikki. Besides, instead of having color - changing eyes and naturally multi colored streaked blonde hair like her, he had piercing blue eyes and deep brown hair. How she knew his eye color? She'd been there when he crossed into camp. Before he'd fainted. Before the crowd had gathered. Right when he changed his life.
Forever.

Aren checked the newb who had just gotten to camp. He seemed shrimpish, and he'd fainted, which meant he was weak. Clearly, not an Ares kid, like Aren, who was the head of the cabin. Which meant he was free game for an introduction to the lake. Hopefully, Shrimpy (Aren's nickname for the newbie) wasn't a son of Posedian. He didn't want a repeat of what happened 2 summers earlier, when he had tossed Chelsea into the lake. That had resulted in him having swimmer's ear for 2 weeks. Still, that was a chance he had to take. A new kid hadn't come in weeks, and the other campers were pretty careful around him.
Aren turned to the whole Ares cabin, which had gathered behind him, probably for the same reason he had.
"Now, listen people. Shrimpy -" Aren gestured at the chair. "-Is mine. Any disagreements?"
The Ares campers stayed silent.
"Good."
Unfortunately, Aren noticed that Maxine had been listening in on his dictations too late. Maxine smirked, as if to say, "Your secret won't be safe with me, honey."
Crap
That was why you didn't break up with your girlfriend, especially if she's Maxine Jackson.

Beth was at the back of the crowd, trying to shove her way through the growing mass of campers spilling through the doorway.
"Hey!"
"Watch it, witch!"
Beth didn't particularly care about the people's reactions. She was just bound to cause a conflict, why not just go with it? Finally, she emerged from the swell of people pushing her back like a current. Dionysus was not going to like all the campers stampeding the Big House. Oh well. Who cared? Beth didn't. She fled to her black marble cabin. Opening the door, she lifted her foot to step in the threshold when she saw it. Something gold. Bending down, she picked it up.
An golden apple.
Nice.
Beth cursed in ancient Greek, and chucked the apple into the forest, and heard it bounce off something. She stiffened.
Crap.
Suddenly, something hit her on the back of her head. She whirled around to meet Ash, one of the tree nymphs near her cabin.
"What was that for?" Ash demanded angerly.
"Nothing," Beth mumbled sadly, pushing the down closed softly behind her. After doing so, she toppled onto her bed.
Sometimes, being Eris'es daughter really was sucky. Not to mention most of the camp though she was a witch because of an accidental fatality Nikki had caused with her stupid magic, but had blamed Beth for. But no one believed her when she said it wasn't her fault.
Thanks, mom, Beth thought.
******************************
Cati was waiting for the guy to wake up. She had timed how long it took new kids who usually fainted on arrival, and the adverage was about 2 hours. It had been 3. He was a brunette, so she didn't think he would be one of her many half - siblings at the Athena cabin. She had heard that he'd been chased by a hydra. Cati had been pursued by the Nemean Lion, but whatever. Hoping that the crowd had died down a bit so that Cati could get back to studying and testing in her cabin. It hadn't. Instead, it had seemed to grow. She sighed, then directed her attention to the other people in the crowd. Chelsea, obviously recognized by her electric blue hair, was across the room. Cati waved, but Chelsea was obviously zoning off into her own thoughts ...
Again.
******************************
Jenna was excited. This new guy could be a son of Hermes! Which would mean more people. Bleah. But more people to prank. Awesome. Just depended. He was already going to be in there cabin anyways - Newbies almost always did.
Suddenly, someone shouted, "He's waking up!", and everyone directed their attention to the chair - where Newbie began to snore. Jenna whirled around to a smiling boy.
"Ben, Ben, Ben," She scolded. "Leave those kind of things to me."
Smirking, she went back to looking at Newbie.
I hope people didn't observe me like this when I came across the borders oh-so-NOT-gracefully. Jenna thought.
I bet they did.
******************************
Serenity stood in back, watching all of this happen. Maxine's obvious boredom with Jack -Serenity liked calling people by their real name, not ridiculous ones that Aren labeled people -, Chelsea's space out (Serenity tended to space out too, which might've been because of her habit of looking at the stars all night, she was the daughter of Astriea), Nikki looking hesitant for some weird reason, Aren and Maxine in a silent duel - again, Beth running out at a random point (she had stepped on Serenity's foot, but Serenity didn't really care, Beth hadn't done it on purpose), Cati glancing for her chance to escape to her lab, and Jenna, smiling as usual. But what was Serenity doing?
Watching. Looking at her fellow campers interact. It was all quite interesting. She usually wasn't out this early - 10 o'clock - unless Ume, from the Demeter cabin, had decided she needed some sunlight.
People began shushing and silencing everyone.
"He's moving!"
"Well, no DUH,"
"No, he's waking up!"
"Better not be a stupid Hermes trick again,"
Jenna and Ben frowned.
Jack's eyes fluttered open.
