Chapter 11

How to Blow Up the Mall

There were other things: weapons like bombs, swords, shields, and other strong and useful things. Their guns were also useful. It turned out about ¾ of the house was given to Adam. He decided for Jewel to teach him how to drive. They wouldn’t use the car because of how useful it was. She built a model. This actually only took a day. It was amazing how quickly he began to learn. In 2 weeks, he actually earned a license somehow! It turned out that they would attach mechanical additions to the model car to make it better. Then, Jewel would drive it. It seemed fit for Adam to drive his Dad’s car.

Five weeks later, he was heading to the mall because Jewel forced him to, and she loved shopping like most girls. That was strange. Adam didn’t like going to the mall. His mom usually spent 3 hours. And, Jewel took 4 hours. Adam would sometimes even drive home, and come pick Jewel up. She would always say, “You’re late.” Adam smiled, because he knew that he was 10 minutes early.

It was strange. This time, Jewel wasn’t there. Adam started entering the mall, and then the second he did, he was shoved out. Where was Jewel? Something was going on. Adam jumped over the men, and snapped his fingers. Ghostwalker appeared in his hands, and Bloodstriker clipped to his waist. He disappeared into thin air, searching desperately for Jewel. He found her at the Macy’s section, surrounded by vampires. Tons of them, very strong. It appeared that they were surrounding her. He slashed off one’s head. The others immediately shifted to looking at him. He continued slashing pieces of a body off. Then, he saw the Jewel. She was standing at a corner. He grabbed Jewel, and ran off, this time seeming super quick, Bloodstriker in his hand. Jewel seemed injured. He snapped my fingers, clipped the sword to the waist, and grabbed a time bomb. Adam threw on the ground. It was set for a minute. He made it out in 50 seconds, and entered the car. He strapped the seat belt on for her, clipped his on, and drove away. As Adam drove into the main street, he heard an explosion. He looked behind the car. The store was in sections. Adam frowned. He hoped he wouldn’t get caught. He was just trying to help out in the war.

Jewel was sent immediately to the emergency room. Some of the vampire’s poison had done damage to her. At first, Adam thought that vampires were immune to such an attack. However, those vampires were especially strong. Jewel was in there for 2 hours. The nurse came out. “She’ll be fine in 5 days.” She muttered. Adam nodded. He would have to cook himself. He wondered if he could live with that. Probably not. He said good-bye to Jewel, and walked into the car, and drove the car back onto the clouds by flying. He knew how to do that too in Jewel’s lessons. He entered the house. He didn’t feel like doing much. He just went to his new bed.

Adam was staying in the house for the next 5 days. He couldn’t live with the cooking he had. “I have to demand for Jewel to teach, again.” He said to himself. His cooking was not so good, so he decided on the last 2 days to just carry out. When Jewel came out of the hospital, he felt so good he would have hugged her. The training sessions with cooking began, and he decided they should try to stay together unless they were not allowed in the case. Jewel agreed with that, and they both decided to go to bed. It was a nice feeling in bed. They were very tired that morning. As he got up the next morning, Jewel opened her eyes. She stuck out her foot at the last second. Adam tripped over it. “Hey!” he said when he got up. Jewel laughed.

Things were getting pretty regular in their house. Super Bowl Sunday had finally come, and they both watched it. “Texans.” Adam muttered. “Never, the 49ers will easily stomp them!” Jewel replied. They fought over it, and begin poking and annoying each other. In the end, they ended up on the ground, laughing super hard. Just then, the kickoff began, and they both got up. They watched the Super Bowl. It turned out the Texans won the Super Bowl. 49 to 50.
