when men were men. chapter four

raphid marched his trackers down the dusty path and through the oak forest,
then he realized his mistake of killing his guards before he had asked them where George got away, but then again he had the most skilled trackers in all the world. and soon enough they found the horse tracks that belonged to George and then after a long while of thinking and tracking they knew that George must have gone in the river one tracker went to tell the king there discovery
"king we have just now discovered how the peasant escaped the guards he jumped into the river and was swept down stream”
the tracker said
"yes"
the king replied
" I already knew that I was just waiting to see if you thick heads would figure it out"
"what do we do your highness?"
the tracker asked
"well"
the king said jumping off his horse
"you are supposed to find the peasant"
the king then walked over to the river
"come here tracker"
the king ordered
"yes?"
then as quick as a flash raphid flung the tracker into the river
"track!!!!!"
the king yelled as the tracker was swept down violent current
then the king yelled at the other trackers
"what are you waiting for follow that tracker!"
"what tracker king?”
"the one that’s going down the river like the peasant did!!"

all the trackers then realized what he meant they all stopped what they had been doing and started at a mad pace along the rocky river bank they ducked under the over hanging trees and shrubs, they could just see the other trackers head sometimes come up out of the water and gasp for air, then they saw many big boulders in the river ahead and they saw the tracker battered in to them and knocked senseless and then his body some how slipped in between the boulders and then the trackers set off chasing the senseless tracker.

hours later the trackers senseless body came to the ocean. and the other trackers dragged him to shore, after another hour he came round, he glanced around
“deserted!!!!!!!!! “
He yelled with his voice echoing over the endless ocean
he jumped to his feet and yelled
"hello! were is everybody?"

his voice was followed by stillness and complete quietness. he looked around and saw the tracks of the other trackers, and then he knew that he had been deserted, and that the other trackers had no plans on coming back for him, he was on his own.... or so he thought.

George was wondering through the forest. when he decided to finish his goat meat for lunch. he listened to the soft peaceful noises of the forest when he heard. hello! were is everybody!!! George jumped to his feet, and pulled out his dagger, and slowly made his way stealthily toward the noise he got to the edge of the forest and looked through the bush's and saw the tracker, he was angry and as George watched the tracker, he saw him whip out a dagger from his belt and put the point on his chest, he held it with two hands and was just about to push it into his heart
"NO!!!!!"
George cried. the tracker dropped his dagger and looked at George.
"y... you are George, the peasant we were looking for, are you not?"

"you got it, I'm George, who are you?"

"I am a tracker"

"no no I mean your name"

"oh that would be Matthias"

"ok I guess you are tracking me?"
"yes! but not any more the king and the other trackers deserted me"

"oh I see well I was wondering if you would be my allie"

" why I'd love to but why would you want to be allies with me?"

"well I have an idea to overthrow the king and you are the start of the army I plan on building"

" ah I see I will be your allie, and I will give you my life to overthrow the king"

"this is great"

"but remember George, we need a bit more then two people to fight the king and his army"

"ha ha funny Matthias, now come with me and I will get you something to eat"

"oh that’s great I haven’t ate anything for hours"

"hmm then I'll need to go hunting, here!"
George threw Matthias the little left of the venison
