You Can't Get Out- Chapter 1

A/N: I am going to be doing this in play format.

ECLIPSE and SERENITY are sitting next to a radio holding a cell phone.

Radio Announcer: All right listeners! That was the twelfth caller! Keep on dialing! We have three more callers before we give away the awesome trip to the fabulous Fun Country Amusement Park for four Valentines day! Once again, the number is-

Eclipse: Dial now!

Serenity: *Dials and puts phone up to her ear.*

Radio announcer: *Now on phone* Congratulations! you are the fifteenth caller!

Serenity: *Covers reciever* Eclipse! we're going to fun country!

Eclipse: *High fives Serenity while screaming*

Radio Announcer: Caller fifteen, are you still there?

Serenity: Yeah, I'm still here.

Radio Announcer: Okay, then that is super cuz' you just won a fabulous trip to Fun Country Amusement Park on Valentines day! *Pauses* Are you excited?

Serenity: Yeah, I'm excited.

Radio Announcer: Okay! What is your name?

Serenity:Serenity!

Eclipse: *Grabs phone* And Eclipse!

Radio Announcer: Wow! What interesting names!

Serenity: Thanks. I have a question.

Radio Announcer: Go ahead and ask it!

Serenity: Can we have more than four people?

Radio Announcer: No!

Serenity: *Looks at Eclipse*

Eclipse: *Shrugs*

Serenity: Okay. Thank you.

Radio Announcer: No problem! But wait, there's more! Everyone under eighteen gets to go to the Valentines day party at Fun Country Hotel!

Eclipse: *Rolls her eyes*

Radio Announcer: Sounds like fun?

Serenity: Uuuh, sure.

Radio Announcer: You're funny-which one are you? You too are twins, right?

Serenity: Yeah. I'm Serenity. This is Eclipse. *Gives phone to Eclipse*

Eclipse: Hi!

Radio Announcer: Will you be there?

Eclipse: Yeah!

Radio Announcer: Okay! *Gets off the phone* Now we're going to have an hour of commercial free music!

Fireflies starts playing. ECLIPSE and SERENITY walk out of the room.

Eclipse: Wow. That must've been the most boring conversation I've ever heard.

Serenity: Eclipse, I'm proud of you. You didn't spazz out.

Eclipse: Yeah, I didn't. I'm proud of me too.

ECLIPSE and SERENITY walk in to main room of the apartment. DREW and KARA are playing scrabble.

Eclipse and Serenity: Hi Drew. Hi Kara.

Drew: Kara, it's your- oh, hi! Congratulations on winning that contest!

Serenity: Hey, how did you know about that?

Kara: It was on the radio.

Eclipse: Really? I'm glad I did a good job.

Drew: Well, not completely.

Eclipse: Why not?

Drew: Here's what you did wrong. You were supposed to scream when they told you what you won, not that you're a winner.

Serenity: *Rolls eyes* Oh. I should've known.

Kara: We tried to enter the contest too. We were the twelfth caller.

Drew: It was fun listening to you. You were the most interesting contest winners I've heard.

Eclipse: Really? I thought it was boring.

Serenity: I agree on that.

GRANDPA DAN walks through the front door.

Grandpa Dan: Hi kids. I was listening to the radio on the car ride over here, and I heard that Serenity and Eclipse won the trip to Fun Country. Congratulations. But you were supposed to scream when-

Eclipse and Serenity: We know!

Grandpa Dan: Sorry. Just trying to help.

Serenity: Grandpa, we have a problem. There are five of us and only four spaces. One of us has to stay behind.

Eclipse: I volunteer Kara!

Drew: Eclipse...

Eclipse: Hey! I'm just trying to help! Kara, no burritos on the car ride.

Serenity: Eclipse, that doesn't solve our problem. We still have to figure out who's not going.

Drew: Guys, I don't have to go.

Grandpa Dan: No, Drew. Now that you're eighteen, you are responsible enough to take them to Fun Country. It's only for two nights. I wanted to stay home anyway.

Eclipse and Kara: YAY!

Serenity: Thank you grandpa!

Kara: I want to wear a dress!

Eclipse: A dress? Me and Serenity are wearing jeans. What about you, Drew?

Drew: I lost a bet with Joe. I have to wear a dress.

ECLIPSE and SERENITY stare at Drew

Kara: You two are so immature.
