This film was INCREDIBLE! Sandra Bullock did an awesome job with this film, and it's no surprise she won an Academy Award for it! I'll admit, it wasn't perfect, but it was enjoyable, and good, at least good enough for a four. This story is a drama-sport film based off of a true story of the famous football player Michael Oher and how a Memphis family took him in when he had nowhere else to go, up to the point where he became a football icon. Amazing at the box-office, Academy Award Winning acting, and mixed to positive reviews with critics is pretty good! I'll admit, the man playing Michael Oher could've done better with his voice (it was a little muffled throughout the film) but all-in-all, the film was good, and it had a VERY satisfying ending. Now here's the reason it's called The Blind Side:

In football, the position Michael plays (I'm not good with this type of thing, so I can't give you a specific name) is suppose to help the QB (quarterback) from his blind side, and stop anyone attempting to tackle him. I think that this was also a very creative title. The screenplay was good, the directing very good (good job Hancock!) and it's a good film maybe for 13 + (only at two points though really) and I would see it again if I could!

Stay tune for my next movie review of a film that I got from Netflix: The Lord of the Rings 1: The Fellowship of the Rings. I hear it's suppose to be good, so expect that review around Thursday afternoon!
