Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

Most people, before I saw this movie, were surprised when I told them I'd never seen any Indiana Jones movies, and now I see why! I just saw it last night and it was great!

The thing is, if not for *coughveryhandsomecough* Harrison Ford playing Han Solo in Star Wars, I might not have really wanted to see this. But I'm so glad I did, because this was a really good movie! Harrison Ford is a great actor, and the plot was cool too. And now I can finally start understanding the rolling ball in the Indy ride at Disneyland, haha.

The only thing - while Ford and whoever played Marion were really good actors, some of the scared Nazis were WAAAY too dramatic with their expressions. Still, that doesn't bother me too much - certainly not enough to bring my rating of it down to a four.

I'm also glad that Indy has a great sense of humor. I was a little worried that the wit of Han Solo would not carry over to Indy, but I guess there was nothing to worry about.

Short, amateurish book review, but all in all, this was a wonderful movie, and I am SO seeing the next one tonight!
