To Kill a Mockingbird

I reccommend this book to people 12 and up.  

   To Kill a Mockingbird is a book about a young girl who is starting to grow up. Jean Louise Finch's -- also known as Scout -- mother died when she was only two years old. She now lives with her brother Jeremy (Jem) and her father, Atticus. At 6 years old, people are nagging her to be ladylike, but she doesn't mind playing with her brother and their new friend, Dill. Together, all three of them gaze up at the Radley Place, wondering about the stories about a boy named Arthur, who is nicknamed Boo.

   Atticus, a successful lawyer, is defending a man named Tom Robinson. He is accused of a crime, and Atticus believes he is innocent. Meanwhile, Bob Ewell, the man who accused Tom, dislikes Atticus and seeks for revenge...
